We Fell In Love In October (Oikawa x Reader)

Chapter 1: Love Song

Thursday, October 1st

Everyone raved about Girl in Red, but what was all the hype about? Y/N was about to find out. Opening up spotify on their phone and putting on their earbuds, and hitting shuffle on the artist. It was immediately clear what was so amazing about the songs. Each one seemed better than the next, until the very last one played. Y/N immediately took a favor to the song. They looked at the title on their phone. 

"We fell in love in October... huh." They looked at their calendar on the wall, chuckling softly. "Maybe some day I'll find someone." Y/N turned off their phone and unplugged their headphones. They laid down and closed their eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Meanwhile in Another House (Oikawa's POV)

Across the street, Tooru Oikawa arrived home. As usual, he had stayed late at practice to work on his sets for upcoming games. Sighing as he walked in, he placed down his bag and walked into the kitchen to get a snack. Oikawa opened the fridge, taking out some milk bread he had saved. He unwrapped the chunk and took a bite. After enjoying a nice meal, he decided to shower and go study for a test in his math class. 

~Timeskip to after le shower~

Having cleaned up, Oikawa got out his pages of notes and began to work on equations. He practiced for a few hours until he could barely focus on the paper in front of him. Tooru cleaned up his desk and laid down on his bed, humming to himself before falling asleep.
