Life hasn't been easy for SSA Devon Amana. Her past is one that only a few know. Actually you can only count them on one hand. And the only reason they know is One: He saved her and her siblings... Two: He's her boss... Three: Well, that person will be the next to know.

Only being in the Behavioral Analysis Unit for a year, Devon is learning that those within the Unit are family. That are willing to do anything for each other. Something she hasn't had. Ever.
The feelings confuse her causing conflict within herself. She is told by her co-workers that she can trust them, but something has its grip on her and won't let go.
