I woke up to the sound of rain. It always seemed to be raining at the moment. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes, a few more minutes I begged but to my dismay my mum shouted me "Lilly it's time to get up!" I groaned and rolled over, burying my face in my pillow. Why did it have to be a Monday? I didn't want to move from the warm cacoon that was my bed but I had no choice. The cold air hit me like a wave of ice I was so tempted to go back to bed and say I was sick but I had a maths test and didn't want to have to sit it another day "UH!"

I dragged myself out of bed and got dressed into my uniform. I looked at my left wrist and there was a black bold mark of a star, it had always been there since I was born. My mum said it was a birth mark but I have seen those and this looked nothing like it. I grabbed my concealer to cover it o others didn't see it and then forced myself down stairs. I heard my parents shouting me and my two younger brothers Edward and Spencer to get in the car.

I lived in the middle nowhere and and guess what my school was also in the middle of nowhere... Okay a small town called Crieff in the cold and rainy country called Scotland. The car ride to school was uneventful and that's what I expected school to be like but once I got to class there was a new guy in my seat. The boy had blond hair that slightly curdled at the ends and he was almost as pale as me but that was all the I could really tell from where I was standing. I looked around the class looking for my friend Tana but I couldn't see her anywhere "this lesson is going to be slow" I thought. Me and Tana where the only girls in our English class which kinda sucked.

As I looked around the classroom I realised that the only seat left was Tana's the one right next to the new person. I took a deep and prepare myself for the snarky comments that came out of almost every guys mouth in this school and sat down next to him. I turn to look at him and before I could get a word out he smiles and laughs a little. "W-what's so funny" I ask slightly self conscious, this guy was gorgeous, he had forest green eyes and I smile to die for. I was brought back to reality when he said "No it's nothing, hey I'm Christopher but I prefer Chris and what might your name be flower?"
"I'm Lilly" I smiled a blush finding its way to my cheeks from the pet name.
"Ah so I got the flower part right then" he looked like he wanted to say more but just after he said that our teacher Mrs Lafferty walked in, she was a middle aged woman with short blond hair and blue eyes nothing out of the ordinary. I always envied people with pure blue eyes unlike my eyes which yes are blue but are more of a blue green with browny gold rings around my pupils, my eyes are what I called mucked up eyes as they just can't decide on what colour they want to be.

English was pretty uneventful apart from the fact I could feel Chris's eyes on me pretty much the whole time. As I picked up my bag I could see Tana in the hall, I shot her a death glare as I exited the classroom. "Where were you?!" I whisper shouted once she was in hearing range.
"I was at the orthodontist getting my braces checked" she said and I sighed.
"you and your bloody braces meant I was left alone in English!" I said as we began walking down the halls to our next class. "Hey I'm sorry not my fault I've got bad teeth, you are lucky you don't need them"
"Fair point" I shrugged as we got to biology, oh joys.
