'No, No.. Yes!' Squealed Avery, reaching for the new book she'd been waiting for 8 months. Here it is! She ran to one of the library's seats and sat on it. 'Let's read this thing.' She muttered, and opened the first page. Suddenly a loud crash sounded. It was the Popular girl and her friends. Brooklyn. The 'leader' of the group. Audrey. The talkative one of the group. Kinsley. The artist of the group and way more than anyone can count. It was a rare sight to see them at the library. they'd usually be in the lunch room, gossiping or something. They shoved past Avery and walked to the computer lab section of the library. It's weird to say this but Brooklyn was the nicest one out of the group. She barely gossiped and stayed out of the bullying. She was sadly a bystander though. She always looked guilty when her friends were gossiping or hurting people.
But, Avery just kept reading her book and minding her business. She didn't want to get hurt after all. It's true, Brooklyn can be annoying sometimes. She always wants someone's test so she can copy off it.It's very annoying to Avery. Still chatter from the room. They were so loud. Avery finally had enough and stormed to the section of the library they were in. 'Do you guys ever shut up? Just for once!' She yelled at the top of her lungs.The girls were in shock. 'Do you know who you are speaking to?' Said Audrey. 'You're speaking to you're leaders. Bow down. Kneel. Do something to respect us.'
'Never. Never in my whole life will I bow down to a bunch of attention seekers.' Yelled Avery, and stomped back to her chair.
