TW: Death, Mild Gore (Maybe), Nomu

It was a seemingly nice day for Ayaka(1). She was in the training arena with her classmates, the students of 2-A and the weather was nice and sunny, the type of day that fills you with energy. However, this is UA, the hero school, and this year has been full of villain attacks. Any moment a villain attack could happen. Not so long ago there was a major case with a yakuza organization and the league of villains involved. Ayaka doesn't know much about it though, the only people at UA involved in the case only was a couple of 1st years, their homeroom teacher, and the big three. Ayaka shakes her head to clear it and focuses on her sparring match.

Though it's a lovely sunny day near the school, the same could not be said for the league of villains' secret headquarters. It's stormy and dark around the abandoned building that is home to some of the most sinister villains in Japan. Shigaraki, the boss of the league of villains is planning another attack. Not on UA this time, he plans to attack a truck escorting a certain Yakuza to jail. He hears Spinner yelling to hurry up. He starts to walk away when he hears a bit of movement behind him. He turns around and sees nothing unusual, just the tanks of Nomu, but they don't move unless they are told too, so that couldn't have been it. He shrugs it off and walks out.

Lighting strikes right above the building and is absorbed by a flimsy lighting rod. The lights flicker and then surge. The tanks of Nomu glow. One of the Nomu, a blueish lower-tier Nomu to be exact, moves a little. Then it slams its head on the glass. More start banging on the glass. A few activate their quirks. The glass shatters and the Nomu step out. They break the wall and step out, all heading in the same direction, instinctively pulled to the place where so many heroes are born.

Back at the school, the lunch bell rings and three of Ayaka's friends walk over. Hikari Hinata (6), an energetic white-haired girl with angelic features, Mizuko Shizuka, a timid blue-haired girl with elflike ears, and Yūto Takami (8), a brave raven-haired boy with red wings just like his uncle, the pro hero Hawks, who he shares his quirk with. Yūto grabbed Ayaka's hand "C'mon, Mima said she's meet us on the roof." Mizuko looks at the ground shyly "My cousin will be there too." Yūto looked at Mizuko "Doesn't Ryu-san usually hang out with class 2-B?" Mizuko nodded "Her friends in 2-B are out interning so she's going to join us today." Ayaka smiled "Well then let's go" and headed to the roof.

The nomu were in the middle of a thick forest but that did nothing to slow their approach. They kept moving towards the school ignoring any obstacle in their way. They were close. They were almost there. They kept moving and the forest thinned out. They could see UA in the distance. They moved even faster until one got to the edge of the school. The nomu that crossed the line was sliced in half by a gate that appeared seemingly out of nowhere and let out a wail as it died. The remaining nomu weren't even fazed as they all charged the gate, breaking it, and continued charging toward the school at inhuman speed

When the lunch bell rang, the group went down to English class, which was taught by Present Mic on the first floor. Ayaka and her friends were in English class when the screeching alarm suddenly went off. Then it stopped, just as quickly as it started. The students nervously looked around as this had never happened before. They didn't know what to do. Present Mic looked equally confused but shrugged it off and said "Don't worry class, it's just a glitch in the alarm systems." Not long later the alarm sounded again, this time louder, and weird noises seem to be heard from outside. It was a glitch. Mic yelled to head to the cafeteria for safety and the room erupted with chaos as students started to run out. The wall started to shake as it something was hitting it. Mima disappeared in a shadow. Hikari and Yūto grabbed Akaya and Kishiko and flew out. Mizuko turned into water slid across the floor in a puddle form The hallway was crowded with students but 6 of them were able to make it to the cafeteria. Yūto set Ayaka on the floor and looked worriedly back the way they came. "I'll get any of our classmates that were left behind" and flew out before anyone could stop him. The only thing that could be heard inside the cafeteria was other students screaming, but everyone could feel the shaking coming from outside. Yūto comes back multiple times, each time with five students. Teachers come and go, bringing more students to safety. The shaking gets worse and teachers stop leaving. Yūto is still nowhere to be seen when cracking noises and massive thuds can be heard. Nobody else enters the cafeteria and nobody dares leave, sounds of screeching Nomu confirm everyone's fear: They have broke in. Anyone outside of the cafeteria is likely dead unless they found another place to take cover. It won't be too long until the nomu break into the cafeteria.

Mima whispers "We need to get out of here" She leads them to the darkest corner of the room and uses her quirk to make a shadow gate to escape the school."Hurry, I can't hold this for long." Mizuko cries and runs through with Ryu following. Ayaka dashes through the portal. Mima shudders as Hikari steps through the portal before following her. They fall in a pile on the other side. They get up as their eyes adjust to their new setting. "Where are we?" Ayaka asked. A weak voice coming from the ground said "A dark cave on a mountain near the school". They look down to see Mima coughing up blood. Mizuko ran to her side with tears in her eyes. "Mi-chan... What happened?" she said in a tone colored with concern. Mima coughed up more blood and said "I overused my quirk" she paused to cough up more blood "I won't make it. You guys run. Look for survivors and-" She coughed out more blood and suddenly went still. She was gone. The remaining girls looked down. Kishiko frowned "Let's go. She saved us, let's not waste it". She peeked out the cave to check for nomu. "The coast is clear" she swished her tail "We can make it if Hikari keeps an eye from above. Maybe we'll find other survivors." The girls leave the cave and start the climb back down to ground level. Hikari flies overhead looking out for Nomu and surviving students. Eventually, they made their way to a city, only to be horrified by the chaos unfolding before them. Nomu were tearing up the city everywhere they looked. The group took cover behind a large pile of rubble. Hikari flapped her wings nervously as a middle-tier nomu passed their hiding spots. "We won't be able to stay here forever. I'll fly out when the coast is clear, look for an abandoned grocery shop or something, grab some food, water, and see if I bump into anyone." A large, strong-looking high-end nomu passed by. She waits for the nomu to pass and flits out, zigzagging through the rubble so the nomu don't notice her. She goes into a corner store for a couple of minutes before flying back out. She had almost made back to the place where the rest of the group was hiding when a tan pair of claws grabbed her. The claws were sharp and easily dug holes into the sides of her torso, blood dripping down her sides. She tried to escape to no avail. The nomu flew away with her in its grasp and the remaining girls cried at the loss of another friend. Mizuko noticed that Hikari had dropped the food she got. She turned her are into water and used it to pull the bag to them. She picked the bag up and looked down. Her voice trembled as she spoke. "They deserve better," she said. Ayaka and Kishiko looked at her, not understanding what she meant. "Yūto, Mima, Hikari..... They should be here with us. We should be in class training. This city should be full of people working, playing, and living. Not destruction brought by oversized monsters made in a villains lab. I'm sure even then the league cannot control them anymore. There is a reason why people only have one or two quirks These creatures are abominations, they should have never existed, and now that they do, they're nearly impossible to beat." She paused for a moment and scowled and kicked a piece of rubble. Ayaka looked worried "Being angry about it isn't going to help. If you don't stop the nomu will find us, or you'll knock down or the only shelter we have. Please stop" But Mizuko is too deep in her rant to pay attention to Ayaka's words. She keeps ranting and kicked the wall. It starts shaking and Ayaka barely ducks out before it falls, crushing Kishiko and Mizuko. Ayaka notices a large shadow coming from behind her to see a high-end nomu right behind her. Its large hand is the last thing she sees as it kills her. Crows descend from the sky as the nomu shuffles away.
