The Finish Line: The Brothers' Retribution.

The Training

There are only 5 days left until the oceans have dissipated, and the rest of The Undefeated team were making their way to Mae's apartment to give the news. In the solemn atmosphere, Maria was the first to speak up.
"How are we gonna tell her? She doesn't deserve this at all!" She cried.
"I know. But I'm afraid we must bare the bad news." Fenrir said sadly. They carried on until they reached Kyoto, where Mae currently resided. After what seemed like 10 years, they arrived at Mae's apartment, increasingly dreading to give the news to her.
"Hey, guys. Wait. Where're Toshiro and Arsène?" She greeted nervously.
"Umm, about that..." Maria starts.
"Unfortunately, we come baring terrible news. Arsène and Toshiro were disastrously slaughtered in our fight with Titanusatan. We regret to inform you that he will only be remembered in our hearts." Fenrir stated sadly. Mae's eyes popped out if he sockets in shock.
"What? No! It can't be! No, it's not possible!!" She denied vigorously.
"I'm sorry." Is all Fenrir said. Mae started crying, accepting that her beloved Toshiro and his brother will never return.

"HUUYYAAA!!!!" BANG! A sword and gauntlet collided with power so great, it shook the abandoned warehouse like an earthquake. Sparks flew, feet jumped and we slowly move back to reveal....

Arsène and Toshiro!

It has now been 4 days since the death of The Fallen Brothers, and the rest of The Undefeated were once again in a fierce battle with Titanusatan. The oceans were almost completely evaporated and everyone was panicking.
"*pant* *pant* he's harder to beat without them!" Maria breathed out.
"Don't give up! We are The Undefeated! We need to fight till the end!" Fenrir shouted.

We come back to this mystery warehouse and our mysteriously living heroes are training their asses off to hone their skills as much as possible. Arsène channeled his fire into his fists, making the white claws glow. His attacks were much stronger and faster. Toshiro channeled more lightning into his katanas, causing them to send out bolts of electricity all around the blade's immediate area. He was more for dodging and counter attacking. As they clashed for days on end, and even right now, their powers were getting stronger. Suddenly, the room darkened and the silhouette of one of The Fallen Archangels appeared.
"Arsène. Your power has grown ever so stronger, and your current form is destabilising. In order to prevent death, I shall bestow upon you this change. Your power will be magnified a thousand fold, and your fire will be combined with the Fallen Angel's Natural Power of Curse and the additional power of quake. Toshiro shall receive the same power transformation. Enjoy your new power and save this universe. However, before I depart, I must follow tradition and reveal your true Fallen Angel birth names. Arsène, your true name is Kurayami, meaning darkness. And Toshiro's true name is Shiro, meaning Samurai and Gentleman. Farewell, Fallen Brothers, and may luck be on your side." The Angel said. The Fallen Brothers started glowing in a fierce red cloud and hooked their elbows with each other, and disappeared in a white flash. Meanwhile, the rest of The Undefeated were struggling against Titanusatan, praying for a miracle to happen. Only for a black, red and white orb of... what looks like fire, hits Titanusatan, knocking him down. Whose doing is this? Stay tuned for the next part.
