Sean didn't expect much from his parents, but that night when he went to check on his parents, his ten year old heart stopped as he witnessed a creature with two eyes, one of the eyes remained covered with an eye patch. He had long hair and a muscular body. Dark clothes covered his entire body from the shirt down to the biker jeans and shoes.
"Where are you going, young one," the creature said as he walked toward him. Fearing that he was next he ran for his sister's room only to see that she lay lifeless on the floor. Ten year old Sean ran into the hallway only to run into the strange man Sean fell back his stomach in knots as he backed away. "Don't be afraid, I'll have you join the rest of your kin, all you need to do is look into my eye."
"Get away from me!" Sean exclaimed, however as the creature began to lift up his eyepatch a voice called from behind.
"Hey! Fugly!" a gruffly voice said. The creature turned only to come face to face with a large iron pipe. Another man ran for Sean. The other man had short hair with brown eyes and took him to safety. The creature fights back but when the first man strikes the monster again, it yowls in pain before quickly vanishing, threatening to return when Sean is older.
"Thank you!" Sean said in a small voice. "But who are you?"
"My name is Dean and this is my brother Sam," The man named Dean said. "But now that we know Balor is coming for you, we're willing to train you if the need ever arises and you could come with us."
Sean thought about this for a few minutes. Knowing that the creature would come back, and that the two men had saved him, he was willing to take his chances and try to learn everything he can about the strange things that are not of this realm. First thing they needed to do was make sure that the police didn't find it suspicious, so Sam pulled out his phone and dialed them. He made it sound like they came across the young boy.
"Okay listen kid," Dean said as he knelt. "We'll find you later, here's our number," he handed Sean the phone number. "When the police question you let them know that you found your family like that when you came home. Once we know you are safe, we'll find you."
"Okay." Sean smiled and hugged the brothers. "Thank you for saving me."
Sam and Dean nodded and left Sean there before the police arrived.
