Part 1

"Mom!" I call down the stairs.
"Yes,honey?"she calls back."Shawn is coming over!" walking towards the door. "His dad?"she asks coming out of the kitchen,wiping her hands on her flower covered apron."Yep... you know it ,mom." I say opening the door .He's been our neighbor for more than 16 Years.Technically my whole life ,but we consider him family since his mom married a drunk man. Since then he has kinda been living at our place.  " Hey ,Cupcake."he said putting his arm over my shoulders. "Hey,Miss Sterling.Guess we're eating Mexican tonight." He says swiping back his silky black hair,glancing at me with his Hazel eyes,giving his "I am sexy and I know it smile" He looks back at my mom and raises his duffelbag " Hope it ok if I crash here for a while." My mom looks at the duffelbag and smiles"Of course ,honey" she said going back into the kitchen."Everything ok ?! You know your mom only makes Mexican when something happens!"  He says leading me upstairs,into my room throwing his duffelbag  on to my bed. "So,what happened this time?."I asked him when he threw himself on to the floor on his knees covering his face. " Shawn?!" I dropped myself next to me putting my hand on his back. His sobs cut deep into my heart.He looked up  at me his eyes filled with tears  "He killed her,Cupcake."
