Breath Of The Sun

Chapter 1

So this story was inspired by my favourite books.

I've been wanting to write a book but I am very busy with my module ( I'm 11 btw) so haven't been able to, but I will try my best to upload!😁

But sorry if this story sucks tho, this is my first book😔😔

Also I'm not that good at english there may be spelling mistakes and I'm not good with grammar either...

I might edit the chapters from time to time if I want to add something, change something or correct it.

Tanjiro was getting ready to go to town to sell charcoal. He was securing the basket on his back. "Tanjiro!" His mother Kie called out to him. Tanjiro turned around and walked to his mother. "Your face is covered in soot, come here" she started to wipe the soot from his face. "You don't have to do this, especially in a weather like this" she looked at him in worry. "It's alright mom I can handle it, and plus I want everyone to eat their fill in new year" He explained. Kie smiled at him "Thank you".

He was about to leave when "Onii-chan! Your going to town? I want to go with you! Can I?" Hanako asked. " Me too!" Shigeru said. " No, you cannot" Kie firmly said. "But-" "No, you know you can't walk fast like Tanjiro, since he can't take the cart today he won't be able to give you a ride" she explained. Hanako made a frustrated face "Onii-chan!" she hugged Tanjiro. "Please let me come! I promise I'll help! Can I please?!" Hanako desperately asked. "Thank you Hanako,"  Hanako's face lightened "but you'll have to stay" her face dropped. "But I'll bring another book and some sakura mochi, k'?" Their face lightened "Ok!" they both nodded. "Ah! Takeo!" Takeo turned to him "Yeah?". "Chop some wood, can you?" Tanjiro asked. "Yeah, but...." he trailed off and looked to side with a pouting face "I was hoping we could do it together". Tanjiro smiled, he walked to him and patted his head. Takeo blushed from embarrassment "What was that for?!" "Take's blushing" Shigeru pointed out. "Hey! Shut up I'm not!" he said still red. Tanjiro patted him once more "Hey!" Takeo blushed even more. They all laughed. "I'll be going now" Tanjiro said. "Ok, be careful" Kie said. "Bye Onii-chan!" Hanako, Takeo and Shigeru said in chorus as the waved him goodbye. He waved back smiling.

"Onii-chan!" Nezuko called. "Hi Nez" He smiled at her. "Is Rokuta asleep?" " Yeah he is, I was gonna put him down before he makes a scene before you leave " she said. Tanjiro looked at Rokuta and smiled. "Ever since father died..... They have been following you everywhere" she said as she smiled a sad smile. Tanjiro smiled back "I'll get going now" " Bye Onii-chan! Take care!" "I will!".

(Time skip after selling charcoal)
Almost sunset

"Good thing I was able to sell all the charcoal, but that was tiring"  Tanjiro thought. While he was walking back home he started recalling some memories when he was young, back then when his father was still alive.

(Flashback)

"Don't worry Tanjiro you'll learn the Total concentration breath in no time" His father gave him a gentle smile. "You think so?" Tanjiro asked. "Of course! You're still so young tanjiro. You still so much more room to grow. You'll have to practice hard to achieve it" his father explained how to properly do the total concentration breath. "See? There you go! Your getting the hang of it, you just need to practice" "Ok!" Tanjiro cheerfully smiled"

(End of Flashback)

'I'm already near' he thought. 'Wait is that Nezuko? Was she waiting for me?' He walked faster towards his home.

"Onii-chan!" Nezuko called out to Tanjiro  who was just back from selling charcoal. "Hey Nez" He tiredly says. "You sound tired" Nezuko gave him a worried look. "Heh... Yeah, but I sold all of the charcoal!" Tanjiro said giving her a bright look dispite his tiredness. "You sure are positive Onii-chan" she smiled at him. "Of course!" He said while putting his hands on his hips making a proud face. Nezuko laughed at her brother's silly actions.

"Onii-chan! Nee-chan! Dinners almost done!"Takeo called out to them. "Oh! Right, I almost forgot" she laughed a little while sratching her temple. "Alright, come on!" They went inside.

"Onii-chan!" Hanako ran to Tanjiro Shigeru and Takeo following. They hugged him. "I brought a new book and some sakura mochi we can eat after dinner" "Yay!" They yelled happily. "Can you read the book to us Onii-chan?!" Shigeru asked. "No, not yet" Kie walked into the room. "But-" "No buts, your Onii-chan is tired, and it's already dinner so you have to wait" she looked in her children's pleading eyes, Nezuko sighed " I'll read it to you later, okay? Your Onii-chan needs to rest" "Ok" the
children nodded in agreement.

(Time skip after dinner)

Kie was washing the dishes Hanako and Shigeru was helping.
Nezuko and Takeo was taking care of Rokuta.
Tanjiro was resting.

(After Rokuta fell asleep and the dishes are washed they also already ate the mochi)

"Ne, Nee-chan can you read us the book now?" Hanako asked. "Oh, yeah sure! Let me get it". Once she got the book she started reading it to them, tho she felt something horrible in the pit of her stomach, Kie felt the same so did Tanjiro but the just pushed it away not knowing the danger that comes...........
