Yokai Watch Shadowside ( OC Insert)

Episode 1: Boureibanchou Part 2

"I think I remember you from a long time ago."

"that bracelet... You're Ken, aren't you?"

"you saved me a long time ago. You're Ken, right?"

-Flashback-

A group of boys run away screaming.
Ken swings his arm and young Keisuke sits up from the ground.

"what was that? You're pretty weak." Ken said.

"Thank you for helping me! " young Keisuke said.

They sat down on the swings

"Those guys are always picking on me..." young Keisuke said looking down.

"well... If they ever come back to bully you, I'll fight them for you." Ken said.

"really?" young Keisuke said.

"sure." Ken said

"But on one condition."

"Condition?" young Keisuke questioned.

"Never say you're going to give up." Ken said as he jumps of the swing and lands on the ground.

"People can come in many size. They could be big like me, or small like you. How strong or big you're are is only a matter of how much you eat. However, people who are tuuly strong are strong in here." Ken finishes as he puts his hand on top of his heart.

"if you have faith in yourself,  you'll remain standing 'till the very end."

-Time skip- ( sorry again my hands are starting to hurt from typing 🙁)

End of flash back.

"Keisuke..." Natsume said.

"it's because of Ken... That I... Can stand up to bullies now." Keisuke said.

The spirit of Ken appeared I front of Keisuke.

"Ken, you came back to fight them off for me." Keisuke said.

"Sure. Seems like I've meddled a little too much though."

"you're the one who seem a lot stronger though, kei."

"no way! Natsume and the gang just made some foul plays."keisuke said as he looked at them.

" Who's making foul plays?! " natsume pouted.

" kei, you've also gotten stronger. " Ken said.

" It's only strength that I've gotten from you, through. "Keisuke said.

" it's all... It's all... Thanks to you, Ken... "

Keisuke's Tears fall on the ground.

" I've... I've... Even since you've gone, I've never said I'm giving up, ever. "

" I see. That's good to hear. "Ken said.

" I must leave soon. " as ken glow brighter.

The group looks at keisuke and Ken sadly.

Touma looks at Miyuki, who looks like was about to cry. He puts his arm around her shoulder. Miyuki looks at Touma with a light blush on her cheeks as they both smiled at each other and back at keisuke and Ken.

"Goodbye, kei." Ken said.

"man are courageous."

"Man are courageous." as they fist pump and Boureibanchou's body disappear.

"Good bye, Ken." keisuke said as ken's spirit fades away.

"thanks for the courage." keisuke said as Boureibanchou's ark appears and lands on Keisuke's hands.

"when the hearts of a yokia and a human connects. An ark appears." Akinori said.

"Keisuke, that ark is yours."

"my... Ark?" keisuke said and then smiled.

Later that night they start to head home.

"hey, keisuke." Akinori said.

"why would you join our detective agency? "

"after much thought, I've come to the conclusion that this is just a dream." keisuke said.

"No way anything like that can happen in reality."

"Using a yokai watch. Obtaining an ark what's all that about." Akinori said with arms crossed and a dead panned face.

"Well, residents of my dream world! I'm going home to wake up now! Bye!"
Keisuke said as he run away.

"Hey! wait up!" Akinori shouted.

"He's always been like that. That stubbornness of not believing in ghost and UFOs... It all came from his fear due to being alone." natsume said.

"It's not like he doesn't believe in it." touma said.

"he's just too afraid to acknowledge any of it."

"in that case, shall we frighten him as best we can this time?" whisper asked.

"oh, that'd be great!" natsume  answered.

Keisuke stops then looks at the ark in his hand.

"yokai, huh?" keisuke said to himself.

"Ghost, UFOs or prophecies. I don't believe in that type of stuff. But Yokai exist.  Yokai exist for sure. After all, my best friend is a yokai." keisuke said as he looks to the starry sky and a picture of Ken appeared.

- the next day at school-

"UMM. For now on, he'll be your new classmate.  This is Haruya Sakami." the teacher said.

"let's get along." Sakami said.

"all you... Humans." as he's eyes glow red.
