Lying here, on my bed, I see the orchid tree
Shining in the sun, so bold and so beautiful
I wonder if i will ever be this free
Smiling towards the winter sun, she embraces the warmth
Confident in her own skin, she knows, she deserves the orb.
How can she look so peaceful? Surrounded by all that noise
Standing there, as if at home, with elegance and poise.
All those bees circling her, vying for her attention
Looking at her beauty, they wonder, Am i even worth a mention?
Look at me, sitting here, envious of a tree
But all i can say, in my defence, the tree is what i wish to be.
