PART FIVE
The next day at school, Harry, Grace, and I were sitting together at lunch when the door opened and a boy I'd never seen before came in. He was really cute, with dark brown hair, and the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen.
"Cooper, do you see that guy? He is FINE," Grace said, leaning across the table so she wasn't speaking too loud.
"I see him," I said, watching him walk through the lunch line, completly forgetting that Harry was sitting beside me, holding my hand.
"Oh my god, he is GORGEOUS," Grace breathed. I looked at her from the corner of my eye. We didn't even know the boys name and she was already completely smitten by him.
"Yeah he is," I said, biting my lip.
"Uhm, hello. I'm right here. You know, your BOYFRIEND," Harry said, waving his hand in front of my face. I snapped out of my trance and looked up at him.
"Sorry babe," I muttered, my cheeks turning bright red.
"Oh my god, he's coming this way," Grace said, freaking out and smoothing down her hair. I turned a bit to see that he was in fact walking towards our table.
"Hi, I'm Sean O'Donnell," he said. I automatically stiffened at the name. 'No, Cooper,' I thought to myself. 'Not every guy is the Sean you know.'
"Hi, I'm Harry Styles. This is Grace Dunn, and my girlfriend Cooper James," Harry said, gesteruing to each of us in turn. "Are you new here?"
"Uh, yeah, it's my first day." He looked really calm, it being his first day and all. Grace, however, looked like she had been going here for five minutes instead of five years.
"Sit down, there's plenty of room beside Grace," I said, pointing to the seat next to her. I was trying to get them together, because I saw how much she already liked him. He smiled at me and slid into the seat next to hers.
"So, what grade are you in?" I asked him, trying to make him feel more comfortable.
"I'm a junior. Hey, are any of you in poetry next with Mr. Wood?" he asked, pulling a schedule from his sweatshirt pocket.
"Oh, Cooper and I do," Grace said, the first time she had spoken since he sat down. She looked more relaxed now, and I smiled at her when she looked at me a bit nervously. She and Sean started a conversation about the class, and what other classes they were in. It turned out they had every class together.
"I think he likes her," Harry whispered in my ear.
"It's obvious she likes him," I said, just as quietly back. The bell rang and we all stood up. I walked with Sean and Grace to poetry, Harry at my side as always. Before he went to his class, he kissed me.
"What are we doing after school?" he asked, still pressed up against me, looking down at me. I was at least a foot shorter than him, so it was hurting my neck having to look all the way up at him.
"I have to bring Grace home, and my sister is still at my house. She's staying for a while. But she's taking me to dinner tonight, because she wants to talk to me. She said she wants to get to know you better though, and my mom wants you to come to dinner tomorrow night. Would that be okay?" I asked, looking into his eyes.
"That's alright with me. Are you sure you want to go out with your sister?" he asked.
"Harry, she's my sister. It's not like I'm going out with Sean," I said.
"What about going out with me?" Sean said, coming out of nowhere, Grace at his side. "I thought you two were dating." He looked at Harry and I, still clinging to each other.
