"Dipper and Wendy" was written on a piece of notebook paper. The finishing touch was added as a heart encircled the names. Dipper Pines smiled admiringly at his handy work. He had been crushing over the Mystery Shack cashier girl for awhile now. Wendy Corduroy. Dipper sighed just thinking about her. Ever since his parents dropped Dipper and his older twin sister Mabel off in the weirdest town of Gravity Falls Oregon, things were always west of weird.

Strange things always went on in the Gravity Woods, and once while exploring the woods Dipper found a mysterious journal labeled '3'. Inside the journal were strange accounts of supernatural creatures all located in this very town. After encountering gnomes on their first day, Dipper and Mabel had been determined to figure out the huge mystery afoot. Including the search for the author of the journal.

They weren't alone. The twins Great Uncle, AKA Grunkle Stan, owned a home/museum called The Mystery Shack. He sold fake merchandise seemingly 'unaware' of the strange going-ons of Gravity Falls. He had Dipper and Mabel work at the shack along with two other employees. Soos was the handyman who was more like a lovable man child, while Wendy was the laid back teen who worked the registers. Dipper was putty in her hands.

So as the summer progressed he always tried his best to impress her while trying not to be too obvious about his feelings towards her. As a matter of fact, there was no such thing as a normal day in Gravity Falls. That's why today was stranger than usual. It was a little 'too' normal.

=======================================

Dipper shaded in the heart daydreaming. "Hey Dip!" Mabel popped up behind him.

"AHHHH!" Dipper yelped as he quickly closed the journal he was drawing in.

"Hahaha gotcha!" Mabel laughed. Dipper regained himself and straightened his signature blue and white hat with a blue pine tree in the center. "Mabel! So un funny." He scowled.

 "What do you have there? Whap!" Mabel took the paper out of Dipper's hand.

"Hey! Mabel give that back, I'm serious!" Dipper cried out as he desperately tried to snatch it back.

Mabel opened it and laughed. "Someone's been pining away again!" She said poking him.

"Oh stop it!" Dipper said taking back the paper. "Your voice cracked." Mabel snickered. "No it didn't!" Dipper squeaked. "I mean- ahem. No it didn't." He said.

"I knew you weren't over Wendy. I just knew it!" Mabel continued.

 "It's not like I would ever have a chance anyway." Dipper sighed looking out the window of their bedroom.

"Not unless you try! Which you haven't." Mabel said. Dipper sat up. "Wait, look and listen. What do you hear?" He asked. Mabel peered out the window. "Uhh nothing. Just people doing everyday things." She replied.

"Exactly..." Dipper nodded. "Since when is there a normal day in Gravity Falls?" He asked.

"You have a point. But it could just be a normal day. Nothing wrong about it. You're just being Mr. Paranoid again." Mabel said.

"Grunkle Stan is probably giving a tour. And Wendy's working, while Soos is off being.. uh Soos?" Dipper said.

"Yeah. Definitely normal." Mabel answered. "Why don't you tell Wendy how you feel? I mean only one more hour before the shack closes so why not?" She said. "What!? No." Dipper replied. "Why not? Just go for. It'll make you feel better." Mabel said shaking him. "Look, can we just drop the subject? Please? I just need to go for a walk and clear my head for a bit." Dipper said.

"Okay fine. I'll just hang out here." Mabel replied. She watched as Dipper went off. She was good at matchmaking and was determined to get Dipper to fess up his feelings. "Soon." She said, "Soon."

======================================

Dipper walked alone through the woods. Just thinking about confessing how he felt made him feel all awkward, and made his hands grow sweaty. "I just need to face facts and admit that a crush will always be a crush. Nothing more." He muttered to himself. After awhile he wondered what Mabel was up too.

======================================

Mabel went down a hallway near the Mystery Shack basement. Only a few minutes then the shack would close. As she strolled down the old hallway she heard a noise. It was like a tearing sound. Then a clank. It came from a room behind her. Curious, Mabel peered behind her. "Ooooooh...." she said in awe.

======================================

As the sun set, Dipper knew he should be heading back. On the route home nothing weird happened. No creatures, no noises. Just an average day. You would think Dipper would be happy about this but he was actually unsettled. Only a few yards from the shack he heard a familiar noise. Mabel screaming. Dipper picked up the pace and ran. "Mabel!" He shouted. He collided with something knocking the breath out of him. "Ow... wha- Mabel!" He said surprised.

"Ahhh!!! Dipper!" She yelled.

"What! What's going on?" Dipper asked frantically.

 "I don't what happened! It seemed harmless so I showed the ray gun thingy to Grunkle Stan, Soos, and Wendy and then it happened!" Mabel shrieked.

"What! What happened!? Where are they?" Dipper asked about ready to shake the answer out of her.

"I accidentally turned them all into 12 year-olds!!!!!" Mabel yelled.

"Wait WHAT!?"
