how we met

"please could i just have a regular iced coffee." i questioned the my waitress, while reading the menu. she nodded and tapped on her little machine thingy, "you're not from around here are you?" the waitress asked me chuckling,

i nodded, i'm from the uk and i moved her to get away from my father and stepmom. but i am 19, 20 in a few months so yea. "uh yea, i'm from th-." i was about to continue when i was interrupted by some yelling and the door swishing open. 

on instinct i flinched turning around, placing my hand over my chest. im extremely flinchy due to my ex, we love that. "dont worry, its only some tiktokers. you will get used to it dear." she said in a calming voice. i nodded turning around collecting my drink from her.

i turned around and began walking while looking at my phone, when i bumped into someone causing my drink to erupt all over me. "im so sorry!" i apologised. he chuckled, looking down at me. wow he was tall. "uhm, your shirt.." he said in a charming voice to me. my eyes went down to my shirt, it was see through. "shit shit shit." i said panicking . 

"woah, calm down here." he said handing me his hoodie. instantly thanking him and placing it over my head. he smirked at me, " you're new around here arent you?" i looked down ashamed and nodded. 

he grabbed my phone from my hand and turned it around to my face so it would unlock. (the face id if you dont know) the dude began typing his number in or doing something.

"welp, baby girl..." he said reading the words on my hoodie. "the names bryce, and heres my number ill show you around sometime." i nodded staying quiet, im not good with talking to men or boys my age due to my ex boyfriend. "thank you." i said speaking up a bit to thank him. bryce chuckled and turned around when some boys called his name.

"yo bryce, lets go stop talking to some chick!" the dude with brown fluffy hair yelled. bryce turned around and hugged me wrapping his arms around my waist. i panicked and froze for a second but lightly hugged him back still unsure. he smiled, then walked off.
