Hi guys, it's me SlytherinPotato470! I recently decided to create a guide for the popular horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's! If you do not know what that is, it is basically a strategy game where you must survive several blood-thirsty animatronics (robots) by simply camping out in the office, and depending on which game you are playing, check the security cameras, door/vent/hallway lights, and when necessary, shut the doors or equip the Freddy Fazbear mask, as well as conserving your flashlight/battery power. If you fail, the animatronics will jumpscare you. The exception lies in game number 5, Sister Location, where the player must physically move around the building to complete various tasks while avoiding animatronics at the same time. The 6th game, more commonly known as Pizzeria Simulator, also requires the player to design their own Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.
But we'll get into more detail later.
If you already play FNaF, then you have found the perfect guide to help you through your journey. Keep in mind though that I update the book as I progressed through the game myself, and the only game I have finished completely so far (October 2020) is FNaF 1, and I also do not have FNaF 4, FNaF 6 (FFPS),  or the VR Game. There is also an upcoming game, FNaF Security Breach, which I will write about once I play it, but will also give a short summary of later in this book.
If you have not played FNaF yet but is interested or are new to FNaF, each of my guides does have a mini description as well as personal experience.
I also write all my fan theories in here. You can skip them if you like, I would just like to keep track of my theories 😅. I am open to constructive criticism but I would appreciate it if you do not simply hate. Keep in mind that if I get something wrong, you can correct me by commenting but please don't be too mean about it, it really hurts my feelings. Also, if you are also a crazy theorist like I am, please consider working with me on some theories!
Some personal tips for playing FNaF if you are a bit afraid of scary things but would like to experience the thrill of fighting animatronics:
-play it during the daytime, with all curtains/blinds open
-have your favourite plushies and/or a few pillows with you
-get comfortable on your bed or a couch, but don't fall off when you get jumpscared!
-play it with family or friends. This could be family night, hanging out, a party, or a sleepover. You don't want too much noise though, many of these games involve close listening!
-don't use headphones. As much as they sound professional and are in fact rather helpful sometimes, the jumpscares are quite loud and having them echoing in your ear while an animatronic shows off its razor sharp teeth at you does not help.
-breathe! Remember: it's just a game. If it helps, turn the volume down to low (unless it involves listening), and pretend they are going to hug you or give you some free pizza instead of kill you!

Enjoy you journey through the haunted pizzeria! Good luck!
