I jerked the blankets off of my twin brother and walked out his room. No words exchanged, just me taking his cover.
"CAEL IMMA KICK YOUR ASS!! GIVE ME THE DAMN COVER BACK!!" Sero screeched at the top of his lungs. I gave a silent giggle. As you may have noticed, I don't speak often.
"C'mon big bro it's just a cover," I said quietly as he stomped towards me. He huffed at me and went back to his room to change. I already had changed into a comfortable outfit for physical activity. I wore a tank top, my binder, and a pair of shorts that showed my curves. My couch potato curves, I thought bitterly to myself.
"Alright Cael c'mon we have to get to UA for the exams," Sero said as he grabbed me by the shirt shoving a hoodie onto me. I gave a small smile. I have a tap onto his hand and he let me go.
"Sharpie or pen this time?" Sero asked. I gave a gesture for Sharpie. He nodded and went to find one, after a couple seconds he handed me a sharpie. I grinned and then wrote my daily good morning to my soulmate.
Most people didn't get this way of meeting their soulmate but instead got a timer, first words said, or the place when they first touch.
'Good morning soulmate!' I wrote on my wrist then doodling a small sun and heart next to it. I shoved the sharpie in my pocket and followed my brother out the door. We walked to UA in silence both of us listening to music. I listened to Moral Of The Story by Ashe. It was a strange song but I liked it.
'So I never really knew you,
God I really tried to~' I wrote on my arm without thinking. I felt another marker on my arm that wasn't mine.
'Lyrics to a song? I like it! How about after our good mornings we write to each other in song?' My soulmate had written.
'That would be nice, I can show my extent of song knowledge!!' I wrote as I took pride in this. Sero tapped my shoulder and pointed at the school. It intimidated me like Endeavour's boobs. I giggled inwardly to myself. We entered where we were supposed to go and I saw Present Mic at the podium. I sat next to Sero and slumped in my seat slightly and layed my head against my brother's arm. I fiddled with my marker and thought of a song to wrote on my arm.
'Hey pretty stranger I think ya look cute! Can I get your number? I wanna know you!' I wrote quickly in cursive putting a smiley face by it. He wrote back quickly.
'Wise man say only fools rush in but I can't help falling in love with you~' They had wrote. I think Elvis Presley wrote that song, or at least did a cover of it. I smiled and then started to pay attention to the lecture being given.
"Alright everyone head to your battle centers!!" Present Mic said loudly. I looked at my card.
'Center A' it read. I looked over at Sero's but he was in a different battle center than me. I got up and walked to Center A. I took of the jacket and tyed it around my waist hoping to have maximum mobility. My quirk wasn't similar to my brother's at all. I called my quirk Photo Freeze. Anything I looked at froze for a certain amount of time and got shorter as I used it for longer quantities of time.
I heard screaming coming from a couple feet away. I got slightly agrivated by this and soon turned to the angry boy.
"Shut the hell up," I said with a menacing tone of voice. The boy growled but shut his trap after a couple of seconds. Present Mic came onto the intercom and gave a quick count down. I bolted into the center after a couple seconds with no hesitation. I saw 3 robots, 2 3-pointers and a 2-pointer. I blinked and frozen them in place and climbed up then and ripping their wires put. I continued to attack these robots not finding another living person as I did so.
"HELP! HELP!" I heard someone scream. I ran in the direction freezing the robot in place and pulling the purple ball headed boy to safety. He gave a perverted comment and I then dashed off to get more points. I then heard a buzzer go off amd I gave myself a break huffing and puffing due to all my running. I felt my soulmate write something on my arm.
'Aside from song notes what are you doing right now?' My soulmate had written. I fished out the Sharpie marker and wrote on my arm.
'Just finished the UA entrance exams! It is as tiring as running ten miles and it hurts like a mothertrucker,' I wrote taking a breath hoping they might go here if I got into UA. They wrote back.
'That's awesome! I go to UA actually, I forgot the entrance exams were today!' I let out a sigh of relief as I knew we wouldn't querial over schools. I smiled at my arm.
I hope to meet you one day Soulmate, I thought hopefully and gave a smile towards the sky, because you are the brightest part of my day, you are my Sun.
