I looked up dance teams near me on my phone. "Ha! Mooooom! I found one!" I screamed. "What? A dance team?" She said, out of breath from running up the stairs. "Yes!" I said. "OK, when is the time to sign up?" She asked. "Oh my god. Tomorrow!" I said. "Well, we'll have to go and see." She said. As soon as my mom went back to her room , I immediately fell asleep, and before I knew it, I woke up. I got some ripped jeans a sports shirt on my converse and my fluffy black jacket. I walked downstairs. "Mom, let's go. Or do I have to go by my self?" I said. "Sorry Jon, but I gotta get to work early baby. Are you okay going by yourself?" My mom asked. "Yeah, I'm fine going by myself." I said. When I got there , I saw the coach was a boy. "Hey, um you are...." he said , his voice trailing off." "Eli." I told him. "Eli Eli Eli.... here you are. Right over her. You're the last one on my list. For tryouts anyway." He said. "Okay." I said, excited. I followed him to a spot on the floor. "Okay, we are going to turn on the music and you are going to dance your best. I now you probably are really good because you signed up." He said. I nodded. They started the music and after a few minutes I was done dancing. "Okay give us a few minutes to think and discuss okay?" He said. I nodded again.
