Arachnophobia, by dictionary definition, is an extreme or irrational fear of spiders.
But is the fear irrational?

If only getting rid of arachnids was as easy as stepping on them...
Seeing those faded imprints on the doors of a decrepit abandoned warehouse together with that newer looking danger sign are enough to cause a hint of involuntary angst mixed with morbid curiosity.
Perhaps that "Danger Keep Out" is akin to a wet paint sign, and rather than serve as a warning to stay away, just begs one to touch the paint and find out whether or not it's wet by opening that door and stepping inside to snoop around.
A word of advice... heed the warning, turn around and go away.
