Rain trickled down from the sky as clouds covered the rising moon and stars. As the small bell rang all 38 children headed to the dining room for dinner, there was a small knock on the door.

"Ah, I got it everyone just head to the dining room." Isabella quickly walked toward the door lifting her dress up just a bit so she wouldn't trip.

But it was too late a boy with raven hair opened the door and to his surprise the was girl standing there she looked to be around his age, she had an umbrella in one hand and in the other was a suitcase, she had a hat on the kind that the children have on when their sent out, she has auburn hair, other than that she had an outfit that everyone else had, a white long sleeve and white skirt but she had a pale yellow caragen as well. Most of her face was covered from a shadow but her mouth was visible and she had an almost emotionless smile on her face. A fake smile? No that's not it it doesn't seem that way its not fake but all so not a true one either...She's going to be trouble isn't she. Ray was puzzled and lost in thought.

"Hello! My name is Evelyn, what might yours be?" Elelyn shifted enough that Ray could see the rest of her face which she had freckles around the brim of her nose and had light grey eyes. Evelen had a tone in her voice that Ray couldn't put a finger on the best he could describe it as kinda friendly.

"Oh, uh mines Ray." He was startled by the sudden voice that erupted the silent shock he had, but Ray quickly shook it away.

"I would shake your hand but as you can see my hands are full." She chuckled.

"Oh! Hello dear let me help you with that." Isabella went in front of Ray taking her bag and slid to the side welcoming Evelyn in which she gladly walked in after closing her umbrella and shaking to get some of the water off. Some of the other kids noticed and walked up to Evelyn, Ray, and Isabella.

"Whos dat?" Phil asked

"Head to dinner everyone. I'll introduce her after dinner." And all the kids head toward the direction that was where the dining room was at. "Oh my, look at that you have a cut on your cheek lets go patch you up. Ray, why don't you come with me and her." He gave her a look as though saying, what are you up to? But just nodded and followed her and Evelyn up the stairs.

As they got there Isabella put a bandage on Evelyns cheek, "Huh, I must have cut myself on a branch or somthing." Evelyn stated curiously.

"Hm, must be." Isabella responned bluntly. "Ray I know you're wondering why she's here, well it's because she will help you with our little problem." Isabella was indicating Emma and Norman.

"Am I not enough? I'm hurt." Ray sarcastically said, putting a hand on his heart. She doesn't trust you stupied. Evelyn thought but just gave him a look.

"Why don't you two talk for a bit, please try to get along. After dinner, show her around. I'll be down stairs waiting." Isabella said getting up from her chair leaving the room.

Evelyn let out a big sigh and got up from the medical bed and headed toward the door about to open it.

"Mom said we have to talk, where are you going?"

"I'm going down stairs, we just talked right?" She didn't have a friendly tone anymore, it sounded like she was tired.

"What happened to that frienedy voice you had earlier?" I said teasing her she looked at me with annoyance before saying very sweetly,

"Well you see we're talking right now! That counts right? After all, it's totally not like I haven't eaten at all today!" Evelen fluttered her eye lashes, quickly after she gave me a look practically saying, are we done here? Befor turning around opening the door.
