It's Christmas Eve and everyone's out of the hospital. Nicole, Stephen, Zoe, Clayton, Josh and I are all sitting happily around in Josh's houses fireplace, laughing, singing and telling story's.
Josh's house is marvelous . It's a huge mansion that's beautifully polished. It has deep brown waxed wooden floors, spiral staircases, and a vintage effect on it's three floors. Even though it's three floors, everyone's staying in the smaller two floor guest house outside that looks almost exactly the same.
We're spending out Christmas Eve together, we've been together for the six past months, conscious or not we've all grown to love each other as family, at this point we're more then a family. Everyone's content sipping homemade cider and some different drinks, on a cold Christmas Eve like tonight. It's the first snowfall of the season, or maybe- storm of the season, but we're together happy, alive and with the loves of our lives. We do a tradition like every year of seeing who could drink the most champagne, and of course I was winning, until I went to down one glass and there was something in it, Josh takes his place next to me by the large crackling fire place, kneels down on one knee, takes my glass of champagne and take what I thought was the cork of the bottle out- but it was a- ring. A large diamond ring that sparkled ever so beautifully in the modern lights of his house, it glistened more then anything I've ever seen before. Before he puts it on my hand he asks
"Alison Blair Conard, my beautiful chestnut haired girl, will you make me the most cliche man I mean happiest man in the world and marry me" he asked with a wink.
"Yes, I love you Josh!" Alison exclaimed.
"You're mine forever now" He whispered into Alison's ear as they hug in front of the crowd.
"Atta be" Clayton yells at Josh, with a huge smirk.
After that, everyone got a little more drunk and started playing karaoke, freestyle. Jocelyn and Alison got up in front of the fireplace and started belting out "Baby It's Cold Outside" like old times. Josh then after tried to serenade Alison but ended up singing "Marry Had A Little Lamb". Everyone laughed so hard that night, after a few hours of the most extraordinary night they could of imagined,it was time to put everyone's peasants under the huge 14 foot tree that Josh had put up for Alison to come "home" to.
They all said their drunken gooodnight's and crawled up to there guest rooms. Whilst Josh and Alison stayed up for a while and Sat in front of the fire together, curled up on the old couch.
"Remember when we we're 12 and 13 and you told me you wanted to be married to me?" Alison said with the most slurred voice you could hardly make it out.
"Yes, and I always did, you're the best thing that had ever happened to me" Josh said in the same slurred voice as Ali.
After some time, Alison fell asleep. Josh picked up her limp body and carried her to their bed. He pulled down the blankets and gently set her on the bed and rolled the covers over her. Then kissed her forehead gently but with passion and layed beside her. He had finally relized he wanted nothing more then too be with Alison more then anythig in his whole world, but now she was his whole world.
