The alarm blares as a light, and a tan hand appears from the blankets, shutting off the clock. The hand returns under the blanket as the groan of a teenage girl makes its way out of the red floral comforter.
Not too long after, a door opens up and a black labrador jumps on the bed, attacking the girl with kisses with its slobberly tongue. Laughter comes from the girl as she sits up, trying to use the comforter to block her face. A knock reaches the girl's ears, revealing to be her mother.
"Miyu! Time to get up and take a shower! Today's the big day!" The comforter is removed, revealing a light, tan girl with long, black hair and deep brown eyes. She stretches her arms out as she pets the dog who continues to attack her with kisses. Miyu smiles as she looks at her mom. "Okay, mom!"

Across town, a woman opens the door that belongs to her daughter, "Yuki - brr!! Honey, did you sleep with your Quirk again?" A groan reaches the woman's ears. "Yukino! Wakey wakey, honey! I got breakfast ready!" Sitting up with a messy bedhead is a girl with short, red hair and light green eyes as she stretches out her arms in disagreement with the clock that is displayed on her dresser with blue lights.

Miyu gets dressed in her middle school uniform which consists of a long, black blazer jacket and a white buttoned-up short sleeve shirt. She also has a crest of her school, along with a long, necktie with a red plaid style, matching her skirt. She has long, white tube socks that go up the knees and brown dressy shoes. She smiles as she heads towards the kitchen; her mom, Kana, making her breakfast with a concerned look on her face, yet she holds a smile.
"Breakfast will be done soon, Sweetie."
"Okay, mom."
Mison, Miyu's father, is at the table already. "Today is the day, isn't it? You'll be attending the U.A. entrance exam?"
Miyu nods. "Yes, Dad."
"Honey, are you sure you want to attend U.A.? There are other places that you can attend to be a Hero." Before Miyu counters, "I'm just afraid of you going out in the field, is all. I worry for your safety." Miyu's mother does tend to be manipulative to her, but she means well. Sometimes her mother doesn't realize that she is approaching her daughter with manipulative behavior. "I just want you to be safe," Kana says as she turns towards her daughter. Miyu can only smile.
"I'll be fine, Mama. I think I can handle it." Mison says nothing, he has high hopes that Miyu will be able to handle it on their own, knowing that he will intervene if Miyu's words bring up a valid point. "Plus, I got my amazing Quirk - "
"Quirks." Mison intervenes. "You have been gifted two, amazing Quirks." Miyu only sighs as Kana sets the plate of pancakes and bacon in front of her. Miyu grabs the gallon of orange juice by her, pouring a glass of the breakfast drink.
"I think the other Quirk is just a bother to me." Kana readies to argue -
"U.A. will help you under it and maybe you can channel your Quirk to understand it more. That also means channeling your temper so you don't lose your sense of control. It can't hurt, Miyu." Mison spoke quickly, not wanting to break his daughter's spirit and also trying to not cause any fights between the two females this morning. Miyu nods at her father as she takes a piece of bacon and eats it.
