Bzzzz-bzzzz. Biana's imparter buzzed. She picked it up. It was a call from Sophie. Biana ran to her mirror, and saw that her eyes were all red and puffy from crying. She quickly applied makeup to cover it up, and then answered the call. Biana knew Sophie could only be calling about one thing: Keefe. Thinking about Keefe made Biana's heart flutter, but then she remembered what happened to him and where he was. She looked back down at the imparter.

"How is he?" Biana said quickly, not stopping for hello.

Sophie looked exhausted. "He still isn't waking up. Elwin's been trying all sorts of remedies for the past twenty-four hours. but nothing seems to be working. Don't worry, though, there's a bunch of things Elwin hasn't tried, and Bullhorn isn't screeching, or laying by his side."

"Is he allowed to have visitors?" Biana could barely breathe. Sure, Bullhorn wasn't laying by his side, but Bullhorn was just a banshee, not a guarantee that Keefe wouldn't die.

"I think you might be able to go tomorrow morning, but Elwin closed the Healing Center for the night, so he could focus on waking Keefe up without interruptions."

"Okay, thank you." Biana was sure her face was pale. "Anyway, I have to... go. I'll see you tomorrow?" She squeaked. Without waiting for an answer, she clicked off her imparter, ran to her bathroom, and vomited. When she got back to her bedroom, Fitz was standing there. Before she could ask why he was there, he said, "I heard. Are you okay?"

Biana broke down right then and there. Fitz sat down on her bed, patted the spot right next to him, and, when she sat down, gave her a hug. Biana sobbed into his shoulder.

"It'll be okay. I promise. Keefe's been through a lot of hard BAAAA, but he's always recovered, and been back to his regular self very soon. I'm sure this time will be no different."

When he was done talking, Biana choked out in-between sobs, "But what if he doesn't get better? What if this is too much for him?"

Her mind ran through devastating images: a tall Wanderling with tan bark and golden leaves, a croud of people all wearing green, and finally, her friends in a circle, but with one empty spot where a handsome boy with artfully styled blond hair used to stand.

"It'll be okay, Keefe is strong," Fitz said. "He can get through this, but we just need to keep supporting him. Elwin is doing his best, and we can be there for Keefe, until he wakes up, and after that too."

Biana stopped crying, and stood, a plan forming in her head. "You know, you're actually right for once. We can be there for him and help him, until he gets better. Now will you please leave?"

Fitz looked shocked by her sudden change in attitude. "Um, sure, okay." As he was walking out, he yelled back to her, "And I'm right about things a lot! A lot compared to you, anyway."

As soon as the door was shut, Biana changed into a fancier tunic that was pink with a teal sash that matched her eyes. She touched up her makeup and hair, and then turned invisible. Checking under her door to make sure Woltzer was nowhere around, she turned invisible, and sneaked out of her room. Yes, Sophie had said that Elwin had closed the Healing Center, but Biana had an ability that Sophie didn't, an ability that made it a whole lot easier to sneak into places. Because what Fitz had said had made Biana realize that she wasn't going to stay in her room sobbing anymore. She was going to do something, and that something was sneaking into the Healing Center to make sure Keefe was okay, even if she got caught. 'Keefe, I'm coming!' She thought, as she walked through Everglen to the glowing gates. 'I'll be with you the whole time, until you're better,' she mentally promised, and, upon reaching the gates of Everglen and opening them to walk through, glittered away on a light-leap to the Healing Center.

(Hey peeps, so this is my first story on Wattpad. I apologize if it's not very good, but I'll get better! I promise. Also, as you could probably tell from the last sentence of this chapter, this story isn't over yet by far, so I'll keep writing chapters, and I promise, I'm going as fast as I can, but there still may be a bit of a wait in-between chapters, so please stay patient! And I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and enjoy the ones to come as well!)
