420 - Chapter 2

"Is somethin' wrong moon?" I closely knit my eyebrows together

"Koibito?" She started, I hummed in response "Am I annoying?"

"Huh?" I blinked, tilting my head, still playing "Elaborate"

"Do I bother you?" She continued in a sort tone

"If ya did, I wouldn't be talkin' to ya right now" I chuckled, albeit, you could barely hear it "Wheres all this coming from?"

"In class one of my teachers yelled at me because I was a little late" She sighed "He said I was an annoyance"

I take back everything, teachers suck

"Yes, she is a bitch" I said "Bi-ct-h" I moved my head from side to side, hearing her giggle lightly; very relaxing

"You're funny, Ko-kun" She sounded happier. Mission completed

"Yer not too bad yerself, moon-chan"

"You know, goldens weeks coming up" She said as I watched her little character move on the screen

"I wanted to talk to ya about that" I sighed a little "I'm going to a training camp so we won't chat for a week"

"Ah, same" She sighed back "It'll be fun though! You excited?" I could hear her smile

"Not really... It's just having to spend even more time with yer disgustin' teammates" I sighed for the umpteenth time that day

"You don't seem to be that excited about volleyball in general"

"Mm" I hummed "Just somethin' I got dragged into and stuck with"

"Do you think you'll be doing volleyball professionally?" She asked with that angelic voice of hers

"I don't plan to do it my entire life... So no. You?"

"Hm... I dunno if I wanna keep doing volleyball professionally..." She mumbled lightly

"Do ya already do it professionally?" I cocked my head to the side

"Yeah, but I'm a benchwarmer... You know, kinda like a background character in anime" She chuckled lightly "I've only been on the court a couple of times. Don't really have as much raw talent like everyone else. In the end, talent beats hard work" She sadly stated

"That must suck... Like a lot" I said. Crap, how do I comfort people? "Yer trying really hard to get on the court... but ya can't, because of others who were born with raw potential, and they might not even work as hard as ya" Now I feel like a jerk, I should work harder in volleyball

"I've gotten used to it, us second years are at a crossroad" She said "Thre are first years that are really talented, and we need to train them by having them get as much game experience as they can, but the third years take priority since they're graduating..."

"Yeah..." Is all I could get out. My mind drifted to Kita, he's usually sitting on the sidelines while us second years are out in the spotlight. I feel bad for him "dammit, we lost" I directed my attention back to the PS4

"Wanna just do survival in Minecraft?" She tried lifting the spirit "I'll create the world"

"Sure" I grinned, joining her. We gathered materials, messed around a lot, and made a house

"Hmm... Ko, we need more coal and... Iron" She spoke into the mic

"Kay..." I lazily answered "Can ya get us some more food?"

"Mhm!" She hummed cheerily. I eventually got back with the items and walked into our house, making some armour for us both

"Oi, moon" I called as she walked in. I tossed the armour on the ground for her, seeing her pick it up

"Oh thanks!" She put it on "Come on, we're going on a dog hunt"

"Dog hunt?" I raised an eyebrow, chuckling

"Yeah! We're gonna go find a dog to tame" She excitedly explained "Well, I hope we find at least 2 dogs, one for both of us"

"We should also try to find a cat to tame so we can keep creepers away"

"Alright, lets go into the ocean to get some feesh and then go beat up some spooky scary skeletons"

"Aight lets go" We set off into the ocean, grabbing our fishing rods

"I bet I could get more fish than you in 5 minutes"

"1!" We yelled, though because of the call lag it wasn't in sync. We started fishing, constantly pulling the rod in early. After the time rung, we pulled out our rods and put our fish in separate chests to prove we aren't lying "I won" I laughed

"Whatever... Now let's go get some bones" She said, sounding like she was pouting, which she probably was. We ran into a cave, pulling out our swords and started killing skeletons and other mobs as well "How many bones do you have?"

"27"

"Haha. I have 28" She laughed

"Okay, we should go get ourselves a cats and dogs army now" I crouched a couple times, running away to find some wolves, seeing her follow. We stumbled into the woods and started looking around, for any wolves. There was also a village nearby so we could go there for cats

"Ko, Ko! I found some!" I ran over to see 4 wolves there. Moon crouched, giving the wolf 2 or 3 bones before hearts finally appeared "Okay, you go" I crouched as well, giving it one bone and it tamed

"Hah" I smirked, looking at her character

"Hmph... Now let's go get a cat" She cheered, running with her wolf as I did the same. We ran into the village and started looking for cats. We split up, and carefully looked for cats, approaching them quietly. I was able to tame a grey cat with yellow eyes while Moon tamed a really light grey cat with blue eyes "Look Ko, there's a desert pyramid not too far from here, let's go!" She ran off as I quickly sprinted after

"wait for me!" I exclaimed. We walked in, digging our way down so we don't fall on the pressure plate. Moon looked in the chests while I dug down and collected the TNT underneath us "Whatd ya find?"

"2 diamonds, some string, a bunch of rotten flesh, gold ingots, horse armor and iron ingots" She tossed them onto the ground "oh and 2 name tags, let's go name our dogs!" She jumped up and down. We eventually dug out way out, going into the village and finding an anvil to name them

"What're ya naming yours?" I asked

"After you, duh" she chuckled "Ko. You?"

"Moon, duh"

"Ha, you should name your actual dog or cat moon" she joked

"Sure... If I had a dog or cat" I shrugged

"Then I'll name mine Ko! If I had one" she giggled, causing the corner of my lips to tug upwards

All of a sudden, a loud beeping noise filled my room, I looked behind me to see it was my alarm clock. My eyes widened as it read 4:30 AM "FUCK- MOON ITS 4:20 AM"

"WHAT?!"
