I woke up seeing my grandmother holding onto my hand tight. The imprints of the rope stiil on her wrists. She was looking at me with relief on her eyes.

"I thought you would never wake up," Says my grandmother, letting go of my hand. "Let me make you some warm soup." She stood up and went out to the kitchen.

I rested my head on the soft pillow. Why does it seems like nothing happened at all? And what happened while I was passed out?

My grandpa came to the room, and he sat on a chair near the bed. He looked at me with tired eyes. He let out a sigh. "A lot of things happened after that," He said like he was about to tell a fairytale.

"When you passed out cold in the ground, a young man, about your age, came as if to rescue you. Actually, he was the son of a great friend of mine, a friend that everyone likes and obeys. He came to visit me and saw us, your grandmother and I, gagged. So, he, uh, fought the bad guy and came up to us. He easily untied the knot as if it was nothing! Then, he saw you and carried you to this room. Like a prince!!! No, he really is a prince. My friend's a king, just so you know..."

Instead of focusing about the other parts, I focused on only in one thing. How did he untie the knots?! They were really complicated!!! And I'm good at untying knots!! "Where is he?" I blurted out.

"Downstairs," My grandpa said matter-of-factly. I started walking down the flight of stairs, looking around for the prince. I wonder what he looks like, I thought, forgetting the fact that he untied the complicated rope. I haven't seen a prince yet. This is going to be a first for me!

But nothing. Did he go home already? I sighed sadly, my excitement washed away. Anyways, I thought, don't try to make anybody fall for you, Violet. That happiness will only turn to sadness the moment we start dating. Even if he's rich.

"Oh, you're going to be living with us from now on?" My grandmother looked at me with a hint of happiness.

I nodded excitedly. "So you're going to start going to school tomorrow," My grandma said, her chin resting on her hand. "I wonder what kind of romance is waiting for you there."

My mind froze. "Umm..." I stopped to think about something to say. "I'm not ready for romance yet, grandma, maybe when I turn 16?"

"How old are you now, anyways?" She asked, looking at me directly in the eye.

"F.. fifteen." I blushed slightly. Even though I don't know why.

"So that time will be sooner, eh?" She asked smiling sweetly. I nodded mutely, the redness of my face fading away.

"I hope you have a great day on your new school," She stood up and walked away to her room.

I buried my face on the pillow, thinking about what should I do on the first day of school. I turned around, facing the ceiling. I'll try and stay away from the boys this time and be more friendly with girls. Girls doesn't particularly like me because I was always with boys. I can't blame myself. I'm half boyish, so that means I can hang out with guys, can't I?

Oh, f*** those girly girls. They're just whorez (purposely did that to the s). But what if a guy approached me and they refused to go? I guess I have to break out my cussing and these strong fists. I sighed. I'm gonna have a hard time adjusting.
