Katie POV
Katie sighed once she placed the big pot down on the kitchen counter. The bakery would be opening tommorow and she wanted everything to be ready. Once she was twenty she had moved back to Stoney brook. Her stepsister Emily had moved back with her and they now owned a bakery called Sister's Sweets.
Katie was still sad she was the only one of the Cupcakers living in Stoney Brook. When she was a teenager, her and her friends Alexis Becker, Emma Taylor, and Mia Baker were co-owners of a cupcake business. She soon focused back on the goods. So she got ready the bread, muffins, and pastries. Then she said hi to Emily.
"Can you get your cookies ready" Katie asked
"Sure"
"Anything new or interesting happening?"
"Just your school reunion"
Katie turned to face Emily.
"What school reunion?"
"The one for your school"
"There's a reunion for my school?"
"Yeah, I'm not sure who's coming though"
"Why not?"
"Well it's hard to track down who's coming or not. I can't exactly ask the school, plus they have to work extra hard on security since Emma is coming."
"Emma is coming?"
"Yeah, maybe you should ask all of the Cupcakers to meet up a few days earlier or something."
"Sure, I'll do that"
Katie grabbed her phone and saw the time 12:00. Then she started calling the group line.
