Andrew x Reader (fluff) Pt.1

Start from the beginning

"You are good-looking too." You tease him, patting his head like you did when you were younger. "But I don't know if I should go. Noah is going to be there too. If I still had my husband with me I would be able to face him, I guess."

"You really want to go, don't you?"

"Sometimes it is good to remember the old times, isn't it? If you don't want to go because you weren't invited, you can go as my date. Significant others don't need an invitation." You looked up at him, hoping that he would consider.

"D-Date?!" That was it, he was weirded out. Congratulations, (Y/N).

"I-It's alright if you don't feel comfortable with that. It was a stupid idea." You stood up, deciding to go away. It was too awkward to stay there.

"Wait." He held your wrist. "I never paid back for everything you have done for me, so... I will go with you. This is the least I could do."

"You don't have to pay me back for anything, Andrew." You put your hand on top of his.

"It's going to be fun." He smiled at you. A genuine smile.

You thought he would give up before the event, but he didn't. He went with you and you felt so happy. Happy because he was going out, something that you didn't see him doing, and because he was having fun.
You went to a restaurant and there was an arcade there. Before greeting everyone and remembering them of Andrew, you dragged him to the arcade where the environment was quieter.

"Are you really okay with that?" You looked worried at him.

"Sure, I'm fine. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be."

"(Y/N)." You heard someone calling your name before their hand went to your shoulder.

"Noah." You turned around and stared at him. All the color drained from your face.

"How are you doing?" You could tell that he was embarrassed. And he should be. He should be ashamed of himself for doing what he did to you.

"Couldn't be better."

Your blood was boiling. Even after three years you still couldn't forgive him for what he did.
Noah used to be your boyfriend in high school. You were a good couple at first: he was romantic, cute, the perfect boyfriend. At least at first. After some time he turned out to be a complete jerk. He was stupid and immature, and it was a shame that you discovered it after you lost your virginity to him. Your first time, which you thought would be a special moment, turned into a nightmare. The day after, people were whispering and pointing at you while you walked down the hallway. You only discovered why they were doing it when your friend showed you a photo. A photo of you sleeping, vulnerable, undressed.

"... Can I talk to you?" He asked.

"What do you want, Noah?" You couldn't contain your rage anymore.

"I wanted to apologize."

"Apologizing won't make anything less bad." Your hands were trembling.

"I was an asshole back then, but I grew up and I realized that what I did to you was horrible, terrible-"

"I really don't want to hear it. I don't want to remember it. And I don't want to talk to you." Your hands didn't stop shaking, but you felt something that calmed you down. Andrew, he was holding your hand. Noah looked down at your intertwined fingers and back at your face.

"Are you... dating...?"

"That's none of your business but yes, we are." You got closer to Andrew, your arms touching.

"... Him?"

"What are you trying to imply, Noah?" You narrowed your eyes.

"Nothing, I just... can't believe that."

"Oh." You looked at Andrew. You were about to do something too bold, but you didn't really think before doing it. You cupped his face and kissed him. You didn't know why you did that, but it seemed that it convinced him. You could hear Noah sighting and footsteps becoming distant. Even before he was gone, you took a while to pull away. It felt good, you couldn't deny it.

"Sorry." You whispered. "I-I... please, don't hate me."

"Oh. My. Lord." He mumbled under his breath.

"I'm so, so sorry." You couldn't stop apologizing.

"You... really kissed... me?"

"I did." You sighed.

"That was... good." His answer startled you.

"What?"

"Sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"Was this... hm... your first kiss?" The way he reacted made you think of that. Andrew wasn't exactly good with girls back in high school.

"Now you think I'm pathetic." He stepped back.

"No, not at all." You smiled at him. "You are a great kisser, by the way." You patted his hair and giggled at his flushed cheeks.

After all those years, did you still had feelings for him? When you were young it was just a crush, but you grew fond of him after you met again. However, you couldn't tell if he liked you or not.
You spent months trying to figure it out until something got your attention.
