Cuddles - Rafe Cameron

You wake up at 7:36am to Rafe turning to get comfortable again. You reach for the blanket because the room is freezing cold and you realize that Rafe took the blanket from you.

"Rafe?"
You call out while tugging at the blanket
"Give me the blanket please"

At this point it was useless to try to even reach for the blanket. Rafe didn't budge, he made a slight groaning sound as you tried to pull the blanket. He was in too deep of a sleep and you didn't want to wake him.

You got up and walked to a separate room that Ward and Rose had built for the kids when they were little. You turned the tv on for a little bit of noise and laid down on a mattress that was in there. You heard the door open and you saw Wheezie walk in.

"Hey what are you doing in here? Isn't Rafe in his room?" Wheezie questioned

"Yeah but his room is freezing and he took all the blankets" Y/n answered

"Just wake him up, not that you're not allowed in here but if you want blankets then show him who's boss and take them from him" Wheezie laughed

"Thanks for the suggestion but I'd rather not have a cranky, tired boyfriend to wake up to" Y/n says, making Wheezie laugh

Wheezie sits down in the chair in the corner of the room and goes on her phone. You try to keep your eyes open but it's hard to because it's so early. You hear a door squeak as it opens and as you hear that your eyes shut and you drift into a light sleep. You then feel someone shake you and you hear talking but your eyes don't open.

"Rafe, leave her alone. She is asleep" Wheezie quietly scolds her sleepy brother

"Wheezie, go away" Rafe replies as your eyes flutters open. You see your tired boyfriend standing in front of you, wrapped in the blankets with his messy hair.

"What's wrong baby?" y/n says softly

"Why'd you leave?" Rafe asks with his voice deeper than usual as he just woke up. He brushes a hand through his hair and then rubs his eyes.

"I'm sorry, you took the blanket so I came in here" Y/n says

He looked at you with his eyes squinted due to the brightness in the room and gave you a confused look, not realizing that he had all the blankets before left the room.

"Do you want cuddles?" Y/n questioned

"Mhm" he groaned as you he plopped his weight next to you. He laid his head on your chest and sighed before closing his eyes, trying to go to sleep again.

He grabbed your hand and just held it and you ran your free hand through his hair.

You adjusted your body and ended up taking your hand out of his hair thinking he was asleep. You ended up running you hand through his hair again for some reason.

"Wheezie, can you do me a favor and close the blinds?" Y/n asked politely and quietly so she didn't wake Rafe again.

"yeah sure" She agreed to the favor as you moved your hand from Rafe's hair.

"Thank you Sweetie." Y/n thanked the little girl

Rafe grabbed your hand and put it back on his head, signaling that he wanted you to mess with his hair again.

"Don't stop please." Rafe pleaded sleepily

"Babe, I'm trying to sleep too" Y/n said quietly and calmly

He groaned, "Please y/n"

"Ok, I love you"

"I love you..." He said before falling asleep.

"He's such a big baby" Wheezie laughed

"I know but I love him" You laughed along with her before falling asleep .
