It was a day like all the others. July Maddison woke up, brushed her teeth and hair, got dressed, ate breakfast, got her backpack on, and went to school. Like always, her friend, Emma Riley, was waiting at the front of the school. Like always, Emma asked about her night and they went into the school. Like always, they went into the classroom and sat down. When everyone was seated, Ms.Heather ranted on about physics. Like always. "And that's why the springs of this box is highly useful for-" Said Ms.Heather. Before she could finish what she was saying, Daniela Opal walked in. Oh! I forgot to tell you this but, in this world everyone is separated into two categories. Angels and Demons. Our protagonist, July is a Demon. She is very nice, though! Her best friend, Emma, is also a demon. Emma is on the neutral side of nice. Daniela is an angel, but she doesn't act like one. She is a rebel, and kind of a delinquent. Let's get back into the story! "Daniela, your late. Why aren't you acting like a proper angel lately? Be like your sister and behave. Act like me!" Ms.Heather scolded. "Like you....hmmm...'I'm so precious and important! Wear poofy dresses and be perfect!'" Daniela teased. Ms.Heather was furious. "THATS IT. DETENTION. LUNCH DETENTION!!! I WILL GIVE YOU A MONTH OF DETENTION IF YOU DO THAT AGAIN. A YEAR OF DETENTION! ALL OF THOSE DETENTIONS!" Ms.Heather screamed. After half an hour, July accidentally fell asleep. After a bit, Ms.Heather woke her up. "Why am I not surprised? Stupid demon. Detention for a week!" Ms.Heather spoke strictly. July thought that it was unfair that she got a week of detention because all the angels fell asleep but didn't get detention. They just got a warning! She sighed. After a few classes, she headed to lunch detention, as the note from Ms.Heather said.
