I'm Lonely
3rd person for Akaashi
The café was located on the corner of 5th and Baltimore. Akaashi had been coming here for years. He had stumbled upon the café on his first day in the new city. It was raining and he had gotten lost on the way to finding his new apartment. As fate would have it, his apartment was only a street away from the quaint café. The exterior was bricked and laced with vines. A small "open" sign in the middle of the black wooden door. It was inviting. Once inside, a person would be instantly overcome with a feeling or warmth and tranquility. A large warm fore place in the middle, surrounded by a large couch and a couple bean bags. On the outskirts were tables where you would often find people diligently working on their laptops or reading their books. The walls were lined with various paintings that the owner collected of the years. The café was a favorite for many.
Akaashi stared out the window of the café. Across the way was the old ramen shop. Long closed as the owner had gotten old and had no heirs to pass down the shop. Akaashi tilted his head as he realized a small red and white "sold' was now plastered over the green "space available sign". He silently wondered what would replace the shop he would often take the girl with the (h/c) on Wednesday nights after a late-night work shift. He sighed heavily before sipping his light-colored latte. The heart design now disformed from his many sips. Akaashi thought back to his first time introducing the girl with (h/c) to his café.
His last year of university in his senior writing class when he had stumbled upon the girl, or rather she stumbled upon him. She was busy reading a small piece of paper in her hand and unaware of the raven haired man that was waiting patiently outside for his professor to open the classroom. When she bumped into him, his books toppled out of his arms and she dropped her paper. They both quickly bent down to pick up the items while she cried out,
"I am so sorry! I wasn't paying attention! I was so caught up in this article and and"
Akaashi cut her off, looking up at her as she scrambled to collect the fallen items "It is alright. It was an accident."
The girl looked up to meet the deep ocean eyes. She felt a flush of warmth across her face Oh...
Akaashi also stared at the girls (eye/color) and his lips twitched upwards
He chuckled and said "My name is Akaashi Kieji."....
Later the two found themselves at the Café. The found they shared two classes and lived relatively close. The afternoon was filled with awkward first meeting silences veiled by hidden blushes. They would then spend three years together. Three wonderful years until she decided differently....
2nd person your point of view
You always loved the small corner café. The one on 5th avenue and Baltimore. It was a quiet place to study and relax. On winter nights you often found yourself curled up on a bean bag with a book. Your raven haired boyfriend of 3 years had taken you there on your first date. The café quickly became your favorite. Even after you ended things with your ex-boyfriend, the café as still yours.
You were headed there now. You had finished work early and wanted nothing more to enjoy a small latte as you thought to plan the remainder of the week.
Back to Akaashi
Akaashi stood up from his table. He had long finished his latte as he had been lost in his own ocean of memories thinking of his ex-girlfriend. He made his way to the door just as you made it on the other side. He opened the door for you with a small polite smile
"Thank you" you said with a nod and smile at the kind gesture hiding the panic you felt when you made eye contact...He reminds me of him...
"You're welcome" Akaashi said. He stepped outside into the chilling weather and shook his head. She looked just like her...
Fuck, I'm lonely. A shared thought amongst the two strangers.
