Quicksave: Battle of Light and Darkness

Henry Austin has faced a lot of threats, but this one will show him the origin of his powers. Who is Henry Austin you may ask, Henry Austin is also known as Quicksave, A speedster with enhanced strength and the ability to access the power yet unknown to him. This power allows him to travel to other dimensions and to heal himself at an alarming rate. He will be remembered as the man who sacrificed himself to save the world.

It is the year 2026 and Henry Austin has been Quicksave for 8 years now and is fresh out of college. Being out of state for the duration of college, Henry hasn't been in his home town to regulate crime.

Henry finished loading boxes into his new apartment in Portland Maine. His unpacking was soon interrupted by a phone call from his father John Austin who has been a Bridgton police officer for 20 years.

"Hey dad, how have you been?" Henry said as he answered his phone.

"Hey son, I've been fine but we have a situation." John responded.

"Is this a situation for Henry Austin or a situation for Quicksave?" Henry replied.

"Put on your suit, The Ripper has escaped from prison and is creating havoc at the police station. How fast can you get here?"

"I'll be there in a flash." Henry remarked as he zipped out of his apartment.

The Ripper is one of Henry's first true superpowered villains he has faced. The Ripper gains power every time he kills but that power fades after a while when he hasn't killed. The Ripper has pinned Henry's dad and the other officers in the police station.

"Where is he, Where is Quicksave?" The Ripper yelled.

"I have heard that he has been gone, that he abandoned you, now there is no one to challenge me." Ripper ranted.

"Are you sure about that?" a voice said from behind The Ripper.

Before The Ripper could turn around he was launched into a nearby wall by a blur of blue light. The Ripper looked up and saw a man in a gray suit with cyan highlights.

"Who are you supposed to be?" The Ripper asked.

"Come on man you don't recognize me?" The man remarked.

"QUICKSAVE!!!" The Ripper yelled in anger as he was getting up.

"You like the new suit, it is tailored to deal with any foe." Quicksave said.

"I doubt that your suit can withstand my blades." The Ripper said as he unsheathed two blades.

The Ripper quickly ran towards Quicksave, Quicksave rapidly grabbed a silver dish from his side and through it to the ground. The Ripper's blades ripped out of his hands and connected to the silver disk.

"What is that?" The Ripper said with confusion.

'It's a high powered magnet"

Before The Ripper could react, Quicksave slapped handcuffs on him.

"You think that simple handcuffs can hold me?" The Ripper said, trying to break the cuffs.

"They're not as simple as you'd think." Quicksave remarked.

The Ripper tried his best to break the cuffs with no result.

"What type of handcuffs are these?" The Ripper asked in confusion.

"They dampen powers, courtesy of a friend." Quicksave said before kicking him to the ground.

"You don't understand what is happening, he is coming, and not even you can stop him." The Ripper said with a sickening cackle.
