"Then what happened?"
"Then, all of a sudden, I was falling. But i wasn't alone I didn't recognize any of them we tried to reach each other, but we were falling so fast! And below us stretched an endless frozen sea. It was terrifying"
" pfft, that sounds like a nightmare not one of your visions"

"Yeah, now let's get going before the fourth graders take our spot. It's not every summer. That we get to see the sky."
Last week, an institute just like ours crumbled to the ground. It happened in the middle of the night, so it caught them off guard. Many died. Ever since, my visions have turned strange. They used to come once a day, they would hit in the morning or even at lunch when I felt relaxed... but now they come and go as they please. While I eat, or speak, or sleep.
"Hurry up or I'll freeze your toes!"
"W-wait for me!" Even if Susie says they're only nightmares... even if she knows me better than anyone at the institute... what if I'm right? What if these visions... will happen?

" I didn't need to be me to predict that outcome... now what?"

" Anne Marie, huh? She better turn out to be a good roommate, or I'll freeze her toes." Susie says
"You should get a new catchphrase" Fai says
"You should get a surname" Susie says

"But for real, Fai, having your name all alone in every list is kinda weird. Well... at least give it a try sometime. There are very cool surnames to go with "Fai"."

I never liked 10 A.M. 10A.M. Usually means math class on mondays, physical education on Thursdays... but today, it means a sun high in the sky, staring down at me. I hadn't seen it since...

"Sorry, I accidentally looked at the sun-" Don't Stare at it directly, you idiot! Didn't you listen to the teachers!?" Susie cut Fai off "s-sorry... Fai apologized "yes! First row!" "What?why? Our chondrias are pretty ok..." Fai says "you live under a rock? They come from the Laire institute, that's top tier investigation! They've got the top priority chondrias! Visions? "That's a legit chondria!" Some random person yelled. "More like "I can spit fireballs and take out tanks" sort of thing. Or a "would you like me to levitate you that building ma'am?" Kind of chondria. Exactamente. Now, if I may, I'll enjoy my last minutes of being best student of class 5-D." Susie says " I guess I'll enjoy my last minutes of being an okay student of class 5-I." Fai says " you're good, Fai. No one can guess the answers to a quiz like you do." Susie says
"That's not how it works!!" Fai yells " oh, yes it is, yes it is-"look" Fai cuts of Susie. They're here. "Woah! They're so... like us. At least I expected some cool uniforms!" Susie states "I'm,Susie I'm pretty sure most of their thing's got burned in the..." Fai try's to reason with Susie " No excuses! Cool uniforms! I demand cool-"best behavior Fai cuts off Susie's rant students from Laire, please come to the desk to register!" "Now let's see who might are new roommie be?" Eh?
"I tell you! He'll try to pull this shit again... and I'll get him myself. I know it was him! And they brought him along-"serge, it couldn't have been him." "It was him and you know it. The car pulled up to the new institute I was going to. I was in the process of moving from my institute to Laire when it had been destroyed so my parents chose to send me here instead. I walk around the crowd to registration. I'm behind a boy shorter than me with red hair he's talking to a girl with green hair and black eyes. "Do you know why the men in uniforms are here?" The girl asks "oh, right! You don't like talking much, do you? I... didn't mean to upset you." The girl says " Chondria Registry." The boy says "Registry?will they test us again? That's fantastic! Maybe they'll transfer me to group D? I would meet so many new friends!" The girl says excited "um...sure." The boy says slightly turned so I can kind of see his face. He has freckles and blue eyes. Next in line! "Then...we'd become classmates-"hey,niña! I said next!" The lady at registration said as I notice two girls, one with blue hair and eyes. The other has purple hair and brown eyes. "Heeeeeeey! Anne Marieeeee!" "Anne Marrriiiiee!" The girls call out to presumably the girl. Then the girl with purple hair and brown eyes falls.
Fai's pov
"Hey, girl, you okay? What did you see?hey!"
"Give the lady some air, miss! I told the headmaster such strong sunlight would hurt you, poor little angels!"
"I've been telling you it was a vision, miss merlo." Susie says "ay, no no no..." miss merlo trails off "that was some loooong vision, what was it?" "Uh... it was mostly the same as before but... now I sort of know who the people I was falling with were. There was a girl "who is not" A boy "who is king" A kid who "can be" and then there was a girl "who's empress" "what the bleep?" "Y-you know my visions aren't literal-"no! I mean... wasn't I there!?" "I found Anne, but more importantly... we gotta hurry. The welcoming ceremony is about to begin!" Susie says running pulling Fai with her "b-but I'm not finished with the vision!"

12:00-lunch
There's a lot of people in this hall.I watch the boy look at his pad and then look in another direction. Then another boy pushes him into one of the girls from earlier the one who fainted. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" The girl says the boy looks at two boy gets up and runs away leave the girl there. "Don't mind him" the guy who pushed the boy said "are you okay? I'm Alex pleased to meet you." Alex introduces himself "Fai" Fai reply's "oh! Here I brought this from Laire, do you have these here?" Alex asks Fai shakes her head "thank you! It's deli- she get cutoff by an explosion in her mouth and everyone laughs at her. "I can't believe she fell for that! I'm Alex hill, I'm gonna rock this institute upside down, and exploramels are $10 each!" "Fai! Look who I found!" The girl with blue eyes and hair from earlier says. "A-ah! Nice to finally meet you, Anne!" "What the- what happened to you?" The girl says "oh,no you are in pain..." Anne says "pain!? What are you talking about!? Hahaha..." Fai says "let go! What-" the girl get cut of by Fai saying "I'm just so excited to show you our room!" Fai drags them away I turn and leave the opposite direction. I go to my dorm and hide behind a wall to wait for my roommates to go in first. Alex walks in "what?you gotta be kidding me. I am not sharing a room with you. Get out, frog. Tell them this room was already full." Alex states pointing to the door. "Do they know about the candy?" The boy asks showing his sharp grey teeth "what will happen when they realize the Alex hill they idolize is a fraud?" The boy asks "what do you mean? I'm a top student of Laire's fifth grade other students follow my every whim, teachers adore me, the military looks forward to having my chondria fully developed... how am I a fraud Phillip?" Alex asks "you told them you made those candies in the chemistry lab. You could have even told them that you made me do them, but you didn't." Phillip states "I'm a pretty good chemist. I can replicate them just fine. I just didn't want to be associated with a freak." Alex states "oh...can you... replicate them? No point, then. I'll get going. Even if I tell them you asked for my help, they won't believe me, so you shouldn't have to worry-"wait what is it you want?" Alex cuts of Phillip of "i want to stay in this room." Phillip states "what? Then I'll move out." Alex says "no" Phillip states "if you think you can, I dunno, take revenge I'll have you-"that's not it" "then why?" Alex asks "I-" attention! I walk down there without my roommates noticing and stand behind Phillip. Alex, Aden, and Susie get called for evaluation. "Phillip Maxwell, Amaya Kato, Fai, Ivea Nanta! Come in!" We all walk into the room where arranged with Ivea nearest to the door then Phillip then me and finally Fai.

Phillip looks over at Fai and she looks down
"We only need a brief demonstration of your chondria in a mild, moderate and advanced manner Miss Nanta, care to begin?" Ivea closes her eyes and makes all the lights go on her then she turns them off and on again. "Quite impressive it isn't gravitational control per se, but it could fit into that category... Mister Maxwell?" Ivea stepped back 'that's quite the cowardly thing to do' I think to myself. Phillip has smoke come from his hands. "That's... it your file is lost, but your priority, doesn't match what you're showing us." Phillip looks behind him then back. Then his fingers start to turn into smoke then his whole body. He hops from place to place and then finally shoots back to his spot and turns back. "Amazing. A full shifting mit. Most mits with changing chondrias can only alter the texture of their skin. Most extreme cases can stretch tissues, like mister Ilardi... but you! And without any mit features you have normal hair and eye color! You may go now miss Kato" she says
I take out my knife and drag it a cross my skin as they try to stop me not realizing my power. Then I draw my blood out using my left hand and move it around then I make shield. I move the shield under me and make myself fly across the room and land. "I need a volunteer for my final show" I state I look around the room and grab Phillips hand and push him to the front of the room move back a bit and start to control his body.

Then I make him walk back to his spot and stop controlling him. "Thank you." I say thanking Phillip. Then she goes on a rant about my chondria "you're free to go now ah, of course miss Fai?" "Yes,ma'am my chondria is indirect. I have visions" Fai says "ah, I remember her. Last year she showcased her predictions for the lunch menu of the entire month. Gave us her paper on October first we were able to confirm on the 28th" "quite accurate if I may say so." "Really a potential pupil for the seer?"
"Well, I can guess your names and ages! I've been practicing hard to-"we stated out names at the start of the week, dear. Have you had no visions? It says here you have them daily."
"Yeah,but-"lets hear those,shall we Fai? Where waiting." "I don't think there adequate sir! Ma'am!" "Let's make that call please narrate some of them... unless you want to fail the current qualification." "I... t-they're about that night at...Laire" "what about it dear?"

Phillip was being interrogated by theses two seventh graders until Fai stopped them. "Thanks." Phillip said "oh,I... y-yeah! No problem! Um,my name is Fai, we... met last week you're Phillip right?" Fai asks "Maxwell isn't it? Wanna have lunch with us? It's Anne Fai and me!" Susie asks "right! You and Susie are classmates! Oh, please come! It will be lots of fun!" Anne states
