"Baby Frankie!" Frank grimaced when he heard a familiar voice call him that name. He, Frank Guzman, was chilling at home that Saturday afternoon, idly seating on their kitchen counter eating a pint of ice cream when he heard the annoying voice.
On Saturdays, all of their house maids get a day off so he and his family were used to doing everything without them. In fact, his dads New and Tay made sure that he and his older brother Pluem knew how to do every single household chore from cleaning the house, cooking basic dishes, and washing their own clothes.
Back when they were kids, every after meal, he and his kuya Pluem would often fight on whose turn it was to do the dishes. Frank used to enjoy those petty fights. But as years went by, they'd settled into a schedule: Frank would do the dishes at breakfast while Pluem would do the job at dinner. They usually eat out as a family for lunch so it wasn't an issue.
In the Guzman house, it was mandatory for everyone to eat meals together as much as possible. Due to their different work and study schedules, they only get to eat their meals together during breakfast and dinner so they make sure to be complete all the time.
"So are you really gonna ignore me, baby Frankie?" Frank heard the voice again so he grumpily walked to the living room and rolled his eyes at the person who had been trying to get his attention.

"Oh, hello kuya Drake," he said with a blank face. Drake Domingo was a regular visitor at their house. He was his kuya Pluem's best friend so he was always around, too often in Frank's opinion. At first, he didn't really pay Drake any mind since they don't usually interact with each other. However, lately, Drake seemed to be extremely fond of teasing him.
Frank didn't think they were close enough for Drake to be making fun of him like that. He knew nothing about him aside from the fact that he was his brother's best friend and was probably their school's most popular basketball player. He was widely known to date a new girl every after two weeks. That's it. Frank didn't know anything else about Drake that merited his attention.
"You're getting colder and colder to me every single time I'm here. Are you trying to be like your brother?" Drake asked.
Frank frowned at him. He hated Drake's thick eyebrows, one of them raised so high at the moment it almost vanished into his hairline.
