2 years had passed. It was time for the reunion. Most of the Straw Hats had already gathered on the now-coated Thousand Sunny; they were waiting on Luffy, their happy-go-lucky captain.

Nami sighed; knowing Luffy, he probably got lost and/or started a fight. Getting lost was usually Zoro's department, but hey, Luffy wasn't exactly intelligent and got lost plenty.

"Alright, as the voice of reason, I say we send someone to go get Luffy. Meanwhile, Zoro should find his way here after a few minutes wandering across the red line. Who's up for it?"

Sanji was bleeding out. Chopper had to tend to him. Franky was showing Usopp around and ignoring Nami. Robin was paying attention but chose to not volunteer. Brook looked around and, seeing as he was the only other one listening to Nami, reluctantly accepted his fate and weakly raised his bony hand.

Nami grinned. "Ok! We'll wait here for Zoro, he somehow finds his way every time, defying the laws of physics, so Brook, go find Luffy."

Brook sighed, then straightened his back and hopped off the Sunny. It may be a chore to hunt down Luffy, but he didn't mind, as he was excited to show off to his captain.

Brook was about to set off towards the nearby town area when he noticed a small figure carrying a massive backpack with a green person being held like a potato sack over his shoulder, thrashing a bit as they were smushed into the backpack.

He squinted, and then realized he didn't have eyes to squint.

The figure was coming steadily closer, until Brook could identify it as... Luffy? "Nami! Unless I'm mistaken, Luffy-san appears to be coming to us!"

Nami looked over in the direction Brook was indicating. She quickly confirmed it was Luffy and alerted the rest of the crew loudly, at which they dropped everything and ran over to look.

The figure, now rather close, was indeed Luffy, and he apparently brought Zoro and a giant backpack. How he found Zoro was a mystery they decided to leave for later; the crew quickly rushed off of the ship to meet up with Luffy.

Luffy grinned and set down Zoro, who huffed lightly in anger, then smiled and greeted Luffy normally. The entire crew was crowded around Luffy; it was a bit odd that he didn't come to them faster than they could get to him, but that was unimportant.

They all started talking over eachother and excitedly trying to show off their improvements and whatnot (except Sanji who was actually back on the ship, slowly dying). Even Robin was there, and though she didn't join in, she still radiated a feeling of excitement and joy.

Luffy laughed loudly and heartily at their excitement, smiling so much it hurt his rubber face. Then, he smirked lightly. Ivankov had prepared a prank; an excellent one at that. (Fuck you with all that "oHhh iVanKoV wAsn'T tHeRrE" or whatever- 1. This is a fanfic, 2. I can just say Ivankov came with Sanji and met up with Luffy)

Luffy took a breath and, while everyone was still in an excited commotion, said "Well now, this is all quite interesting and I would really love to hear more, but as we are currently under attack, shall we continue this reunion on the Sunny? Underwater, preferably."

The crew fell silent and stared at him wide-eyed, their mouths frozen in shock. Luffy suppressed a bout of laughter at their expressions and started towards the Sunny, leaving them behind, frozen like statues. He hopped aboard the ship and set down his backpack.

The crew, in a cold sweat, still where they were, quietly managed to converse.

"D-did h-h-he j-ju-just s-say-"
Usopp stuttered, horror contorting his expression.

Chopper trembled slightly. "The-there's no w-way-"

Franky swallowed dryly. He stuttered without forming real words.

Even Robin was shocked. She stood there, mind racing until she came to the only conclusion. "T-that must've b-been an imposter..."

The crew immediately accepted this as fact and sighed in relief, acting less tense but still clearly terrified.

"Y-yeah! That was a fake Luffy! That's obvious, I don't know what we were thinking!" Nami said, desperately trying to convince herself.

Deep down, they knew that was Luffy, but it couldn't have been. He said something... something... intelli-

"OIII! HURRY UP! LET'S GO UNDERWATERR!!" Yelled Luffy from the ship. The crew relaxed slightly.

"A-ah. We must've been hearing things." Robin said with a nervous chuckle. Their captain would never in his life say something thought out or intelligent, what were they thinking?

The crew slowly unfroze and headed towards the ship, pretending he never said anything before boarding the ship.

They all got aboard and began preparations at Nami's command. Nami started explaining how it worked, refusing to look at Luffy as he nodded along.

"Ah, so that's how it works; and we needn't worry much on our oxygen supply, seeing as we have Nami's orange trees and the grass. That's wonderfully convenient." Everyone felt a wave of fear wash over them.

Sanji, dying on the ground, was shocked at the captain's words. He then realized how much blood he lost.

"Oi, Chopper, I'm gonna need more blood, I'm starting to hallucinate. I just heard Luffy say something intelligent, I definiently need medical attention- stat."

Chopper was near tears as he turned to Sanji. "N-no, you d-di-didn't ha-hallucinate, I heard it t-too." He shuddered and became incapacitated, babbling nonsense and twitching.

Everyone else just ignored it, hoping desperately against hope that it would go away, that they would wake up and this nightmarish world where nothing made sense would be naught but a dream. What was next, Zoro with a sense of direction?

The crew, mortified as they were, were pushed past the breaking point when Luffy went over to Chopper and announced his symptoms loudly and declared Chopper was in shock.

The rest of the crew just began screaming and crying, each breaking down in their own way.

Zoro was eyeing the water. Breathing heavily, he jumped into it without a second thought and started swimming wherever.

Usopp began cackling and screaming as he ran around chasing Chopper and occasionally whacking him with his slingshot.

Nami was shrieking and chasing Usopp.

Sanji was still just dying.

Chopper was being chased by Usopp while babbling incoherently and stumbling.

Robin was in a corner, curled into a ball telling herself everything was fine.

Franky was malfunctioning and sobbing on the ground.

Brook's soul left his body and went to Sabody to scream at people in fear and spread the word that the end was nigh.

Luffy was laughing loudly admis the chaos. Zoro somehow ended up in the bathroom and came out soaking wet. He drew his swords and charged Luffy, who fell on the ground to laugh, causing Zoro to trip over him.

"Ah, you guys are so dumb!" Luffy's words stopped the chaos automatically. Almost everyone dashed towards him to whack him and, as a whole, inform him that he was the idiot, not them.

Luffy wiped his tears of laughter and stood up. "Y-you can come out now!" He said, confusing his crew.

Ivankov appeared from the shadows; when Sanji noticed, he seemed to physically become depressed.

Ivankov grinned and took a breath.

"It's just a prank, bro."

The crew automatically accepted this response and they then lived happily ever after and Luffy lost 4 years of his life so he could prank his crew by getting some temporary intelligence hormones so he didn't live as long happily ever after but hey whatever
The end
