Mitzi Flapdoodle used to live the normal penguin life on the icy continent known to its inhabitants as Club Penguin. She went ice fishing, danced at the Night Club, toured the skies with a jet pack, and cruised through the mines in a mine cart. Of course, little did she know that one day, her life would change forever.

It all began on November 25, 2008. It was a nice day with marvelous arctic weather, a perfect time to get a cup of coffee. Mitzi knew just where to get one, too. She visited the Coffee Shop every day to relax and unwind with a copy of the Club Penguin Times and a nice, warm cup of bean juice, which she bought regularly from the friendly barista. He knew that she liked her coffee with thick cream and two sugars. But this visit to the Coffee Shop would be one like no other.

After Mitzi bought her coffee like normal, she sat down on one of the shop's comfy couches to read the newspaper. As she was looking for an interesting article that would grab her attention, she got distracted by something round and blue bouncing in front of her. She looked up from her newspaper and saw that it was a blue puffle. Mitzi giggled when she saw it, because puffles were just so cute, but this particular puffle was bouncing something on its head. It looked like a torn-up piece of paper, and Mitzi suspected that it must have been for her. Mitzi grabbed the piece of paper from the puffle's head and took a closer look. It looked like some kind of riddle, signed by someone named D. There were two pictures drawn on the paper scrap. One was a cloud with snow and the other was a castle.

Suddenly, she heard the barista say, "You look a bit puzzled. Can I help you?"

"Hm? Oh!" said Mitzi as she looked up from the postcard. "Um, yes. Could you take a look at the postcard this puffle gave me?"

"Sure!" said the barista. "Pass it to me, and I'll be happy to take a look."

Mitzi gave the postcard to the barista, and as he examined it, he said, "Looks to me like directions, or maybe a riddle. The first clue is snow and then a castle. I think you may have better luck outside."

"Thanks for the help!" said Mitzi as the barista handed the postcard back to her.

"No problem!" said the barista. "See you later!"

As Mitzi walked out of the Coffee Shop with the puffle following her, she tried to figure out what the clues on the postcard meant. It looked like some sort of map, but where did it lead her to? She knew that sometimes penguins made snowcastles on the dock and on the beach, so she decided to go to the dock and look for the owner of the puffle.

When she went to the dock, she saw a green penguin standing by the Hydro-Hopper and looking out into the sparkling ocean.

"Hello," said the penguin when he saw Mitzi approaching. "The ocean is very peaceful today...And watery..."

"Yeah, the ocean is very peaceful..." said Mitzi. "And watery, I guess. Do you happen to own this blue puffle?"

"No," said the penguin. "I'm sorry, but I don't own any puffles."

"Oh, okay," said Mitzi. "Thanks anyway."

She walked over to the beach to see if the puffle's owner was there. However, there weren't any penguins around, except for one sleeping on one of the beach chairs, so she didn't bother. She went to the ski hill to see if there were any snowboarders or sled racers who happened to own the puffle, but no one was there. She decided to go back to the town, because she knew it was always bustling with penguins. Maybe there could be somepenguin looking for their missing pet puffle. As she looked around, she saw a purple penguin standing by the Clothes Shop counting coins.

"Seven...Eight...Nine...Ten..." counted the penguin. "Twenty...Wait. Uh-oh."

"Excuse me," said Mitzi. "Sorry if I made you lose count. I found a postcard, but it seems to be a riddle. Can you help me solve it?"
