Eddie: What's wrong, Katie?

Katie: It's...it's nothing.

She smiled nervously and walked off.

Eddie: Damn it, Bear. You did it again! I knew you'd put her off me.

Bear: What? You're a nerd! She prefers big tough guys like me!

The two of them began to argue as Katie walked away.

Katie: (thoughts) I can't believe this is bothering me that much. Do I care about walking with Nate that much?

Whisper: Ah, there it is!

Whisper pointed at the yokai.

Whisper: It's the yokai Noway!

Name: Noway
Tribe: Tough

Whisper: He's the yokai responsible for making people reject offers or requests. He really is a let-down.

Nate: Maybe I can reason with him.

Whisper: No, that would be impossible. No matter what way you convince him to leave he'll do the opposite so we'll have to force him away!

Nate: I really don't like to fight. Okay then.

Nate took out the medal of his most reliable yokai friend.

Nate: I can always rely on this guy. Calling Jibanyan! Yokai medal do your thing!

Nate inserted the cat yokai's medal into the watch and a pink light burst out.

Watch: Summoning Charming!

Jibanyan jumped out.

Jibanyan: Jibanyan!

Nate: Hi, Jibanyan.

Jibanyan looked up at Nate.

Jibanyan: Oh, hi Nate!

Nate: Could you get rid of Noway for me?

Jibanyan looked at the wall yokai and was intimidated by his size.

Jibanyan: What? That guy?

Nate: Come on Jibanyan, please?

Jibanyan sighed and stepped forward.

Jibanyan: Alright, fine. But don't expect me to fight for you all the time!

Nate: Of course not.

Jibanyan charged forward and pounced at Noway.

Jibanyan: Take this you bully! Paws of-

Jibanyan was about to unleash his soultimate but an aura surrounded Jibanyan and he stopped his attack.

Jibanyan: No way. I'm not fighting

Nate: What?

Whisper: He's been inspirited.

Nate: (sarcastically) Oh, great!

Whisper: I don't think any of your yokai have the power to resist the inspiritment.

Nate: Oh, come on! So I basically can't get rid of this guy? School's about to start any minute!

Jibanyan was lazing around on the floor due to his refusal to fight.

Nate: Wait, was it you said earlier?

Whisper: What?

Nate: You said Noway does the opposite of what you say!

Whisper: And your point is?

Nate: Watch this. Jibanyan, don't attack Noway!

Jibanyan got up, still inspirited by Noway.

Jibanyan: No way am I gonna do that! I'll attack Noway with Paws of Fury!

He then unleashed his flurry of punches, each one hitting Noway in multiple places. Noway was too slow to defend himself.

Nate: Yeah, that's it!

Noway then turned and began to run.

Noway: No way am I staying here!

He dropped his medal as he ran. Jibanyan, now free from Noway's inspirit, picked up the medal and passed it to Nate.

Jibanyan: He left you this, Nate.

Whisper: He must have saw you as a good warrior and wanted to fight alongside you.

Nate: This is great!

Nate took the medal from Jibanyan's paw.

Nate: Thanks. Now I have one more thing to do.

Katie was about to walk into class when she heard a shout.

Nate: Katie!

She gasped, turning her head to look to the side. Nate was running down the corridor towards her, waving.

Nate: I've changed my mind! I want home from school with you!

Katie smiled.

Katie: (thoughts) Yes! Finally!

Nate: (thoughts) I promise, Katie. Nothing will stop me winning your heart.

They then walked into class together. Whisper and Jibanyan watched happily.

Whisper: I'm glad he finally fixed what Noway did wrong.

Jibanyan: Good for him!

But Bear and Eddie were also watching.

Bear: No way, dude! Does Nate seriously think he has a chance with Katie!

Eddie: That's a joke! Nate's so average. He won't know what to even do with a girlfriend!

They then laughed. Whisper and Jibanyan heard their rude comments.

Jibanyan: I oughta give them a piece of my mind!

Whisper: And I thought they were supposed to be Nate's friends. I'll be keeping a close eye on them two...
