Loki was seething, pacing back and forth in the cell that the Avengers had shoved him into only moments ago.

Loki's hands were chained at the wrists and had obviously been improved since he'd last had them on as he could barely access his power. This just made him even more annoyed.

Stupid, pathetic, useless, mortals.

So, this is what he gets for doing the right thing? He had saved Thor's life and as repayment, he got electrocuted. Though, to be fair, he did try to betray Thor...

again...

for the fifth time...

in a row...

in one day...

But that's beside the point!

Not to mention that he had also fallen off the Bifrost because of a sister that he didn't even know existed, had his life threatened almost two to three times a day by the Grandmaster, was beaten by a Valkyrie and was also chained by said Valkyrie.

Then, if that wasn't bad enough, after he, Thor, and the others caused Ragnarök and barely escaped with their lives because of Hela, Thanos just had to come and ruin everything and attempt to kill his Brother. Loki then had to save him, again, at risk of his own life and almost died trying.

Finally, Loki managed to send Thanos away with the tesseract, which Thor was really mad about. They then arrived on Midgard and Thor thought it would be such a grand idea to go see his friends, the Avengers. Since Thor had rightfully lost any faith in Loki, (for the moment, of course. Thor could never give up on Loki), he took his brother everywhere with him. As soon as the Avengers set eyes on Loki, they had immediately put him in chains and into a cell, despite Thor insisting that Loki was better than the last time he was on Midgard.

Loki huffed, rather fed up with his constant bad luck as he sat down on the cold, hard ground, staring blankly past the glass barrier around him. Why the mortals seemed to think this cell would still hold him after his last escape, he wasn't sure, but he was much too annoyed at everyone and everything to think of an escape plan at that present moment.

They had, thank Odin, decided not to put that horrid muzzle on him as Thor had protested strongly against it, knowing how much Loki detested the damned thing. Points to big bro, he supposed. Then again, through all of this, there was only one thing that was bothering Loki most of all. Something that was really ticking him off.

Stephen Strange.

After the man had made a complete fool out of him, Loki was determined to find out who he was and get revenge.

When they were out of danger, Loki had instantly ask Thor who that man in the red cape was from Midgard.

Thor had been curious as to why Loki was wondering who he was, but Loki simply said the man intrigued him as he didn't ever know mortals could harness metaphysical powers.

Thor told him his name was Stephen Strange. Loki thought that was the stupidest name he'd ever heard of. Loki hated that mortal with his entire being. How dare he think he was better than him. He was a god!

Yet, for some strange reason, his heart would keep beating faster whenever he thought about Strange. But that was just his rage at the mortal.

...Right?

"Brother."

Loki scowled, "I am not your Brother."

Thor sighed. "I'm sorry. I did not realize they would put you in here."

Loki turned to glare at him. "I told you it was a bad idea to bring me back to Midgard. You never listen!"

Thor looked like a kicked puppy as he looked down at the floor.

Loki took a breath. He was trying to get along with Thor, but why did it have to be so damn hard!

"Look. I'm just mad because I'm-I'm getting tired of being treated like a villain. I'm sick of everyone seeing me and thinking, 'oh look, there's the man that killed hundreds of people and tried to enslaved mankind'. It just gets tiring. I'm trying to change Thor but...no one's giving me a second chance," Loki explained, or more like, ranted.

"I've given you second chances. I've given you multiple! You just keep wasting them!" Thor said defensively.

Loki rolled his eyes. He hated when Thor was right.

"Stark has agreed to let you out so long as you don't cause any problems," Thor continued.

Loki raised an eyebrow at him, waiting for the 'but.'

"But-"

There it was.

"-if you cause any problems or create mischief, the Avengers will lock you back in here and I won't stop them. Understand?" Thor told him sternly.

Loki smirked which didn't reassure Thor at all. "Crystal," Loki promised.

Thor nodded and opened the cell, letting Loki out before leading him upstairs to see the others.

"Hey! There's Rudolf!"

Loki glared at Tony. "Unless you want your pathetic mortal form to be tossed off this very tall building, I suggest you don't ever call me that name again."

Tony stepped back with arms raised defensively. "Alright, I won't. Calm down."

"I still don't like this," Clint scowled, crossing his arms over his chest defiantly.

Loki was about to say that no one cared about his opinion, and he was next in line to be thrown out a window, when a glowing orange circle appeared and a man stepped out.

Stephen Strange.
