All The Flowers In The World

Part 1

From time to time, I find myself wondering what it would feel like to pass on. To cease to exist. If I could, just for a moment or two, I'd disappear from the face of this world and look at it from a different place, a different perspective.

I wonder what I'd think of it then.

Sometimes I'm still amazed by reality. I find myself looking around, and I simply wonder how?

There are four elder gods. Goddess of the moon, Goddess of the sun, God of the earth and Goddess of the living. That is the first generation of gods. They were said to be immortal by humans, but that was proven wrong when Yerah, goddess of the moon fell deeply into a one sided love with Shamah, goddess of the sun. She kept her love a secret from the world, but after thousands of years of admiring from afar, Yerah confessed to Shamah. Goddess of the sun, who was said to be beautiful, with the kindest eyes and most vibrant skin, turned her down gently. But a human heard the conversation. A female goddess falling in love with another was unacceptable to him and many others. The news spread like wildfire, and Yerah felt ashamed for causing an imbalance to the world. She decided to collide with the moon herself, merging bodies with her. Shamah continued to rule the sun with dignity for many years, but the tale was not forgotten among the humans. It became such a great tale, that after a while man got bored with the original story. It went from generation to generation, changing just a little every time, until after many years it was now engraved in history that Goddess of the sun and Goddess of the moon handled a romantic affair whilst being wed to different men.

This, of course, wasn't true, but the humans became enraged when this version of the tale began to replace the original. They set out on a mission to kill Shamah. This, of course caused complete chaos. It set the world into a complete imbalance, the sun never shines.

It is said that when the stars shine the brightest, the moon misses her lover the most.
