I started out my first day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as I would any day. I got up, got ready, and headed to the grand hall for breakfast. As I was walking through the doors of the grand hall, I immediately spotted my best friends, Hermione, Ron, and Harry, at the Gryffindor table. We have been friends since we were first year, and have gone through some amazing adventures since then.
"Gianna!" Hermione exclaimed. She immediately got up when I approached and gave me a hug. "I've missed you so much, I didn't see you all summer." She adds.
"Aww, Mione I missed you too," I respond. We were barely separated last year, so four months without each other was a lot.
"Hello Gianna," Harry says. "How was your summer?" Harry was always so sweet and kind to me. He's like a brother.
"Well I spent it with Ron and his family so not much. But it was very amazing to feel apart of a family." I say. Since I'm the last known Gryffindor alive, I never had any family. My mother was killed by you-know-who when I was six, and I never knew my father. Mom never told me who he was because she thought I was too young to understand; whatever that means. She probably didn't want me to know I was born out of wedlock and my dad was a dick and left us.
"It was nice having you Gianna," Ron grumbled with food in his mouth. "It kept Ginny quiet." I saw Ginny look over at him and give him a death stare. We all laughed.
As we went on with the conversation, I noticed a certain blonde head, Slytherin staring at me. It was Draco Malfoy. He's definitely gotten much hotter since his first year, but I would never think about him in that way. He's such an arse. Our eyes met for a second, but it seemed like a century. I couldn't find myself to look away from his stone gray eyes, but lucky for me, he broke away from the stare. Bloody hell, that was odd.
As I was walking to my first class, D.A.D.A, I hear a familiar voice approach me.
"Well if it isn't the little Gryffindor princess," he says. It was Draco.
"Shove off, Malfoy." I say. God was he
annoying.
"Oh am I bothering you princess," he responds with his classic smirk on his face. He then steps in front off me so I couldn't walk away
"As a matter of fact yes." I say. "Now can you move, I have to get to class."
"Nah, I like it here," he responds as he slowly gets closer. God he's such a git. I couldn't do anything, so I decided to make a witty comment, to push his ego down.
"Aww, does the little Slytherin prince have a crush. So cute. Maybe one day he can become king, and stop being a slave to his father." I say with a sarcastic tone. He then grabs my wrist and pins me to the wall.
"Who said you can talk to me like that, you filthy little blood traitor," he shouts. His hand was beside me, so there was no way I could get out with my own strength. He was much taller than me and I could see through his shirt that he has some big muscles. I try to grab my wand from my cloak, but Malfoy snatches it from my hands, and throws it on the floor.
"Nowhere to go now, Gryffindor." He tells me. I would never let him see it, but I was terrified. I had no idea what Malfoy could do. He could assault me, steel from me, or even hex me. I didn't know what do to, so I just put a smirk on my face. This caught him off guard, so he slightly looses his hold off my wrist. I got out of his clutch and punched him right in the nose. I saw him go to the floor and I ran as fast as I could. As I was running, I felt tears roll down my face. Malfoy scared the hell out of me, so that's the only thing I could do. I ran to the Gryffindor dorms, sat on my bed and balled.
