Evil Demons And Starry Nights

Tommy knocked on the door with his free hand. Vince let us in.

"Mick?" I asked, seeing him on the couch.

He just stared up at me.

'Mysterious motherfucker,' I thought to myself.

"Hi, baby," Vince kissed Kat's cheek.

"What's wrong?" Katherine asked her.

She tried to get away from her.

I told Katherine what happened, as Kat ran to Mick.

She gasped.

"Those bastards!" she yelled.

"What?" Vince came over.

If we knew him well enough, he was absolutely terrified of her when she was angry.

"Fucking demons, trying to get my daughter and me apart, to get to you guys," she growled.

She walked over to where Mick and Kat were.

"Princess," she cooed in a soothing tone, "you know the bad men that no one else can see?"

Kat slowly nodded.

"They're trying to get you away from me," she said.

"To hurt everyone I love," she whimpered.

"Have they ever told you why they want to hurt them?" Katherine asked softly.

She shook her head.

"Damn!" Katherine whispered forcefully.

"Mick?" Kat looked up at him.

"What, sweetheart?" he cradled her.

"I'm scared," she whimpered.

"I know, honey, I know. You just gotta trust mommy, okay? She knows what she's doing," he murmured, holding her close.

"Okay," she said and cuddled into Mick.

We heard her snoring softly after a few minutes.

"I'm sick of all this," Tommy said.

"Yeah," Vince agreed.

"Whose fucking idea was it to call that bitch?" Mick snapped, directing his attention at me.

"Hey," Katherine shushed him.

"Sorry," he muttered.

I felt bad. In two ways I started this. I regret getting into black magic, but I really regret calling that psychic.

"A little six year old, being bullied by demons. Sound familiar?" Katherine smiled at Mick, sitting next to him.

"Heh, yeah," Mick slightly smiled.

"Where's Razzle?" Tommy asked.

"He left for a little while," Katherine said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Until Kat's senses calm down. Two ghosts are a bit overwhelming," Katherine explained.

She woke up and ran to me.

"You're just everywhere, aren't you?" I smiled softly at her.

She tugged on my jeans and I picked her up.

She leaned into my ear to whisper.

"Meow," she giggled in a whisper.

I smiled and threw her up in the air a few times.

She looked outside through the window.

"Can we go look at the stars?" she gasped.

Vince grabbed a large blanket.

"Anyone else wanna come?" he looked at them.

We all followed him outside and he set the blanket down in the grass. It was large enough we could all fit.

Tommy pulled me into his lap and kissed me.

"I love you," he smiled softly.

"I love you too," I smiled back.

Katherine and Vince were smiling over at us. She was laying her head on his chest and cuddling him.

Kat was running around with Benny for awhile.

Mick was just sort of sitting alone.

I wondered what's been his problem lately.

Mick's P.O.V.

I've never really felt lonely, like ever, but after seeing Katherine and Vince and Tommy and Nikki I just feel alone.

When Nikki and Tommy kissed I felt like shit for not being able to get a girlfriend.

We heard the squeals of Kat and Benny playing.

"Okay Kitty Kat, it's Benny's bedtime," Vince said.

"Aww," she whined.

He chained him to the doghouse, until we would go back inside. Kat came and cuddled into me.

"Hi, Mick," she kissed my cheek and laid on my chest.

I was laying on my back, so my legs were folded. She put her legs up on mine so her feet looked like she was walking at an angle on the sky.

"Hi, baby," I kissed her cheek, and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Look a shooting star," I pointed up.

She gasped.

"Make a wish," I smiled.

"Done," she said quietly after a few seconds.

She yawned and got settled on my torso.

"Mick," she whispered.

"Yes, princess?" I said softly.

"Promise you'll never leave me," she murmured almost asleep.

"I promise," I held her close.

"Good," she mumbled.

After about ten seconds I heard her snoring softly.

It's like she could always sense how one if us is feeling. Maybe she could. All I knew is I didn't feel so alone holding her. I realised my little niece is really the only girl I need in my life, besides my sister.

I fell asleep staring up at the stars and holding Kat close.
