What are men to rocks and mountains,
that looked like it came from another dimension
What are men to Albay's landscapes,
that unfailingly entices my passion?
From the turquoise depths of Casa Basilisa in which the Koi fishes inhabits
And towards the underground river of it's Hoyop-Hoyopan cave,
The haunting steel-hard white crystals and the cold dark water
Will give me shivers until the end of my days
My Love Letter for Albay,
Addressed towards Mt. Mayon and all of its glory as it's recipient
And also the golden sunflowers which surrounded the bee farms
The beauty they offer is nothing like I have ever experienced
Me and my siblings huddle under the Albay stars,
Eating fresh fish and savory mussels
Cold provincial air whips my face and cradles my hair
Albay is a heaven on earth that makes me forget all of my problems
Like any great love story,
My love letter for Albay will meet its end
But the memories I have made with my family and friends
Will never be forgotten
