Two new survivors had been invited to the manor, a letter sent out to each of the survivors and Hunters who already resided in the manor. They were to make a good impression on the guests. Whatever Lady Nightingale says, goes. At the moment, it was 7am on the dot, the normal time for the residents of the manor to have their breakfast. There was a table for the survivors and a table for the hunters, the two sides were forbidden to speak outside of matches, for the survivor's sake...but some of the residents did it anyway, they just had to be sneaky. The hot topic of both tables was the new survivors. Questions were sent out around the table, to see if anyone knew about the two. Who are they? When will they be coming? and so on, so forth. These questions, however, were soon brought to a halt as the dining room's double doors swung open.

There they stood, the two survivors along with Lady Nightingale. The two were quite short, below average. On the right of Lady Nightingale stood an androgynous person dressed in purple. Their gender was hard to tell...But a big smile was plastered on their face, seeming confident. On the left, a much shorter woman stood. She was dressed in pink and white, having a lolita type style. She looked happy as well...but it looked a bit forced. As the two tables had their eyes glued on the new members, Lady Nightingale cleared her throat, all attention was back on her.

"As you all know, we have two new survivors. Please say hello to Case, The Performer, and Amelia, The Candy Maker." A small smirk fluttered it's way to her lips, it seemed almost cruel. Just as fast as they arrived, Lady Nightingale left, leaving the survivors. They looked towards each other before making their way towards the table of survivors, automatically being bombarded with questions. Amelia stayed silent, ignoring the questions as she took her seat. Case, on the other hand, was ecstatic to be getting this attention, basking in it. Soon, the questions died down and a conversation began, Amelia still staying quiet. As they ate, Case kept glancing at the table full of Hunters, catching them watching Amelia and him. He sent a smile their way, making the hunters quickly turn their heads away.

"Who's at that table, over there? Why aren't they sitting with us? We have enough chairs." Case asked curiously, immediately being shushed by a woman with a flare gun in her hand. "Do you have any sense in that pretty head of yours? Those are the Hunters." Her words were met with a look of confusion. She sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. "Of course Miss Nightingale didn't tell you about them...You two came here for a reason, right? Promised money, safety...in that letter?" Being met with two nods, a man with a cowboy hat on spoke up.

"Well, you two ain't gettin' any of that. We were all tricked...tricked into a cruel game! Those hunters over yonder...they're called Hunters for a reason. Every day we're put into a game...we have to decode machines to open up the exit gate...without them catching us." The cowboy explained, accent thick and almost sounding like gibberish. "And what happens if they catch us?" The lolita finally spoke up, the forced smile still on her face. "They strap us to these chairs...They have rockets on them. There's a time limit, and if someone doesn't rescue us in time, we're shot back to the manor."The flare gun woman said.

"Isn't that...like...illegal?" The candy maker questioned, being met with shrugs. "If it isn't, it needs to be." A woman that was wearing a doctor's outfit commented. As this conversation was happening, Case's eyes stayed glued to the table where the hunters sat. Some of them looked scary, but others looked pretty human-like. "Hey!" A gruff voice shocked Case, snapping him out of it, looking to where it came from. A man with a backpack was staring at him intently. "I wouldn't make eye contact with any of them if I were you. Don't talk to them, look at them, nothing...they're dangerous." He huffed.

Case slowly nodded, but deep down we all know what's going to happen. Case will just ignore the warnings and seek out the hunters anyway. The rest of breakfast was pretty quiet, other than the occasional small talk. Soon a bell rung out, signaling the end of breakfast. Before they had entered the dining hall, Lady Nightingale had shown the two new survivors their rooms, so they had no trouble finding them.

Slowly turning the knob of his door, Case looked to the left. There was one last door at the end of this hallway, in big letters it said, "STAY OUT. HUNTERS ONLY." With a small smirk, Case walked into his bedroom. He was already planning on how he'd sneak into the other side of the Manor. He was curious...He wanted to talk to them.

On the other side of the hall, Amelia walked into her bedroom, her bright, forced, smile fell into a frown as she closed her door. "Ugh...I already hate everyone here. Great." She mumbled to herself as she looked around the room. "Mm...We're going to have to decorate in here."

After breakfast is when the survivors and hunters were supposed to prepare for the upcoming matches of the day. The first match of the day will be Case, Amelia, Luca, And Andrew. The hunter was unknown, but they were told by the other survivors that that was how it always was. They never knew who they were going to be hunted by.

Case found this interesting, an element of surprise! However, Amelia found it aggravating. How was she supposed to prepare if she didn't even know who she was preparing for? Along with the new of the first match, The new survivors were also sorted into a category, based on what they would excel in. The two were put into the kiting category, they would excel in leading the hunter around the map.

Soon, another bell rang out, signaling for the team to gather in the waiting room. Case was the first one there, basically running as fast as he could into the room, sitting at the table. He was very excited. After him, Amelia came in, the fake smile still on her face, taking a seat next to Case. Luca and Andrew then followed.

Case looked at the chair in front of them, trying to catch a glimpse of the hunter, but there was no luck. He couldn't tell who it was. "Well, is everyone ready?" Luca asked, earning nods from the other three survivors. Suddenly, the sound of glass could be heard and everything went black.
