Sea of Strangers

Prologue

Life is filled with so many unanswered questions. It never tells us what we really want to ask and what life has in store for us. Although, some answers were answered through life experiences but we never really get the message that some experiences would give.

"Anna would you strike another pose for us?" 

I suddenly stopped walking and striked a pose for the photographer right in front of me, the busy studio here in NYC never seem to be quiet as everyone is busy doing their jobs, the staffs are busy lining up the products that I have to model for the one and only Christian Dior not only that I also have an upcoming runway show for Victoria Secret. 

Di naman sa pagmamayabang but I am a famous international model that is known worldwide, Every corner in this busy city I can see my face walang billboard na wala ang mukha ko.

"GREAT SHOT ANNA! That is up for today Anna thank you so much for today" The photographer wrapped his arms around me and gave me a kiss on both sides of my cheek.

"Thank you so much Alex for today" I smiled at him. "See you next month for the fashion week, I hope you won't miss me too soon" and I flashed him a smile.

"Ah I really hope so, honestly why don't you move here in NYC since your job is in here and then you could travel to the Philippines once you get a project there?" Alex suggested

"hmmm I would think about it but there is something in the Philippines that I just can't leave" 

That was one of the scenarios that happened in the entire day. Halos hindi na ako makaka tulog dahil sa stress na dala ng trabahong ito but ito kasi ang gusto ko and I will do anything to do what I want, bihira lang ang mga tao makakagawa ng gusto niyang trabaho

Growing up my parents thought I'd become a doctor and for some time I did too. I look back at the times when I was at my happiest and took a sip of my coffee while waiting for the bus.

While waiting I heard a familiar guy talking "Yes, I'm working on it", I look at the guy speaking on his phone and as if it was in a movie, time has suddenly stopped and as if we're the only people on earth. I stared at him for quite a while until he ended the call. He must've noticed me staring at him so he looked at me and was shocked to see me. For he was a stranger that I once knew and I was to him he said "It's been a while Anna" and I was once again lost with his hazel brown eyes.
