"Morning , it was just another dream"
i said while laying in bed i still lay there trying to remember the dream i just had . "no , i rather forget about it"
just when i said that i heard a voice coming down stairs shouting
"HEAVEN , COME DOWN STAIRS BREAKFAST IS READY!"
ah an ear piercing scream that could only come from my mother
"Ok mom"
i try to come out of bed still thinking about that dream i had . I look outside the window , outside I could see the sun was already up
"heh, they would have love seeing this"
just when i walk down the corridor i see my little sister whoʼs still half asleep , she's walking down the stair with her messy long dark hair behind her hair i could see a brown eyes still tired from reading her favorite book until late and her favorite blanket still in her hand , she then clumsily walk down stairs . we both arrive at the kitchen where we see mom with her apron , mom look a bit tired yesterday she was busy in the bakery but with her motherly love she still make us breakfast ,I still think we should make a schedule for us to make breakfast but mom said with her kind voice that itʼs okay for her make breakfast .We then sit down at the table and start eating mom "special" breakfast that includes Eggs, bread and sausage make to look like a face with a smile
"i put a lot of love in it i hope you kids like it" mom said just when I'm about to eat my bread Dad walks to the kitchen with his beard large beard and tall muscular body while saying
"good morning family"
"my little sister the scream "GOOD MORNING DADDY"
"Good morning Claire and good morning to Brine"
"morning dad" i said while putting a bread in my mouth
"and good morning to my beloved wife"
mom just smile will making his morning drink after breakfast mom tasks me and my sister to clean all the plates after weʼre done dad ask us to change our clothes and help him outside so with no other choice we have to help him . Dad then assigned us with different task , my sister help mom with the clothes and help her in the bakery meanwhile dad task me to clean the barn while he work with the crops his favorite thing to do . i hate cleaning the barn there many disgusting thing in there and the animal doesnʼt even like me ,butl like dad always say
"are you gonna complain about it or are gonna be a man and finish it"
well letʼs just get this over with . i went to the barn just to see animal poo all over the place ."sigh" after many hours of cleaning poo , then give them food and cleaning the whole barn again because they poo again because i give them twice food . just when I'm done it was already sun down and my mom and sister come home from the bakery and Dad just finish with his work at the field . we all come home and clean our self , after that mom then fix us dinner
"so how was the bakery dear?" dad ask
"It was great dad" my sister said with a happy voice .
"so how was the barn heaven ? " dad ask me
"it was full of crap" i said trying to be funny
we all laughed it did lighten the mood a little , then dad continued
with his story about how to treat a crop right and how hard it is to do it , it was a happy time until i say
"would it be better if we use our pow-"
"WE DO NOT SAY THAT HERE AND WE ALL PROMISE TO LEAVE THAT BEHIND" Dad shouted
i was stun and immediately felt bad about saying that , i have forgotten about the rule of this house , never to talk about the secret .
after his diner dad thank mom for the meal and then went straight to bed i help mom with the disses and then mom comfort me and said
"itʼs okay honey itʼs a new life we can get this through together as a family"
"iii.. i donʼt want this new life mom... i want my old one back , i miss my friends , school, i want them all back mom" as i started to cry
"itʼs okay big brother iʼm still here i could be youʼre friend" she said with a smile
i hug her and tell her sheʼs already one of my best friend after that mom tell us to go to bed and have a good night sleep . as i went upstairs i see dad door crack open inside i see dad writing something in a letter i quietly walk to my room trying not to bother him . just before i get to my room dad call me i turn a round and went to his room in there i see the letter has been sealed he then tell me too sit there something he needs to tell me
"Son... i know this new life is hard to adjust.. and i donʼt blame you " he said with a soft voice
"i myself sometime have trouble with it... but you don't have to fell this way , tomorrow i want you to come with me maybe there's still hope for our kind.... now go get some rest"
i slowly walk to my room , still confuse i ask myself
"what was inside that letter ? , why am i the future of my kind , i couldn't even protect my friends from....."
i try not to remember it , i went into my room and try to get some sleep
"why does it still hurt ? , it happen a long time ago . why does it always come back ?"
i finally got some sleep , but the nightmares they always come back , there scream i still could hear them at the back of my mind , there blood spill on face , there body droping on the ground , as i ran away not helping them ,
"GET HIM ! , DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY !" said one of the soldier
i ran , just ran , ran until my legs couldn't move again . i passed out
