I stood alone, surrounded by a crowd of people whispering at each other's ears, I look up to the dark blue sky, pasted with bright, twinkling stars.

I stared back to the ground, and I see my body, cold and helpless, my car just collided with another person's, blood covered my body, and it started to color the road.

The sounds of an ambulance' siren can be heard from afar. As it came, I saw people carrying my body inside. not knowing how to feel or what to do, I just stared at my hands, not believing all of this was true.

The ambulance started to go, seeing it, I ran... until we arrived at the hospital.

They rushed my body into the emergency room, and that's when I started to wonder, "do spirits cry?", I knew I should be sad, but I just felt light.

I waited and waited. Soon, my family arrived, my mother, can't seem to calm down, she kept on walking in circles, "Sit down, I get that you're worried, but panicking won't help." My dad said, helplessly my mom looked at him as she made her way toward my father-slapping him senseless, "This is your fault!" She screamed as tears streamed down to her chin. "I told you to pick her up! Where were you?! At your skank's house!" She raged as she continued to slap my father's chest.

I tried to hold my mom, but my hands passed through the warmth of her skin. "Mom..." I whispered as I pretend to hold onto something I physically can't.

Having had enough of my mom's blame, my father stormed off from the hospital.
My mom was left sobbing alone, eyes stuck to the operation room.

My ghostly being sat beside my mom, I followed her gaze... How did it get here again?
