Chapter One

'The beginning'

"Hey Draven wake up!! "Says a voice I can hardly recognize "OMG! My head hurts, leave me alone!" I reply trying to figure out who it is "it's cause you were drunk idiot! Come on man we have work to do!" replies the voice. I peal myself off of my bed and walk to the bathroom. I stare at the mirror, heck! I really was drunk, my eyes are bloody red, black shade rounded on the outside part, my hair is messed
up. I turn the shower knob. 'the water is so hot, that it stretches every inch of my body and thought. It feels so good. I flex my muscles as if I'm trying to lift a truck from the ground. An overwhelming cold creeps through my veins,though the water is hot. I can feel my body clenched so tight. The water dripping on my back feels like nails, it feels like something trying to come out from inside of me, consume me, and control me. Suddenly like a butterfly in the summer fields, I see her; just walking by, in the slowest of motions. I can smell her perfume. So innocent, so happy. She smiles at me; like a dark cloud slowly giving way to the spring sun, I can feel my body letting go and relaxing. Once again I turn my back on the cold familiar embrace of darkness to warm myself in the light of her strange love.'

After I'm done, I wear my black T-shirt, blue jeans shorts and black air Max "Draven join me." Says Felix biting a piece from his steak "please tell me you didn't cook this thing?" I tease "what!? it's very delicious!" He complements himself, "yeah! You cooked it; it won't taste bad for you! But for me even the amount of salt you use makes me wanna throw up". "it's for the taste man!" He yells. "yeah...yeah..., anyway should I call Amelia? I miss her." I ask him. "No offence man, but you are giving yourself way too much to her". "Whoa! Didn't see that coming!" I give him a 'please-explain' look. "what I mean is take caution when it comes to love, I mean you call and text her every day, even when she is not replying, to remind her how you feel. Let alone calling, she doesn't even text 'I love you too'". My mind starts processing 'that ain't true cause she is still with me, she wouldn't be with me if she didn't love me.' I think. 'Maybe you are fooling yourself maybe she doesn't love you, eh?' my subconscious replies.  "Hey don't drown in your thoughts, just make sure she is in love with you before it's too late. Now have a steak", "Oh thanks I'll have the mango juice as well." Felix is tall, with white hair that falls over his forehead, he has blue eyes and he is in his 20's, he looks thin and frail. He is a bit emotional and secretive. While mixing the juice "so did Bel call?" He asks "no, but she texted me to meet up at Molly's rise and shine before work". Isabel or ,Bel as we all like to call her,has; dark hair that reaches her shoulders, dark blue eyes, and doesn't like to worry much about stuff. She is about 58Kgs and 5'9 tall. She is an archeologist and like Felix, she is my bestie. "Ok let's move." He says getting up from his seat. "And I'm driving!" He added. The air feels so fresh as I breath in and out smoothly. The sun feels warm on my skin. I close my eyes to let the air hit my face.' "So what are we going to do today?" He asks "I don't know much but boss says we will join some Bulgarian archeologists." I reply "oh so Bel will be there too right?", "maybe."

When we arrive at Molly's, Bel and Amelia are sitting at a free table drinking coffee. Bel waves and we go to them. "Hey guys." Bel greets us with an unconvincing smile "hey Bel how was your night?" ,"Don't ask Draven I was vomiting half of the night" She complains. I turn my face to Amelia who is barely looking at me "I missed you love." I whisper to her. When I hold her hands, her emotion turned uneasy. seems like we have become the attraction, cause everyone is silent for a while. Felix gives me 'I-told-you so' look.
"Well how is work going?" asks Bel. "It's great how about you?" I ask her "well it's interesting, by the way some of our archeologists will show up from Bulgaria today." Without answering to her both me and Felix glance at each other "what?" She asks "our boss told us the same information." I reply "that's great! What about you Meli "Bel turns to Meli. "Well as tour guide I get to meet many people. Some are sanely afraid of a night tour and some are insanely fearless, in fact too comfortable with it. But most people sign up for the night tour." She replies. "Well we better be going before we are late, I bet we are tho. " Says Bel "Meli can we talk? In private." I ask "sure." She replies "well make it fast love birds we will wait outside." Says Bel pushing Felix out.
