Chapter One: The Hospital

It all started at the hospital, people find the hospital to be a noisy place indeed. Screaming newborns, whiny toddlers, patients complaining to doctors and so on. With the Sagitarya Virus going on, things got even more crazier. The Hospital got even more patients, even though mostly everyone was in lockdown, safe in their homes. I was supposed to go on a simple date today, all calm and nice, but INSTEAD I got sent here, to this disgusting place, just for a check-up. People say I'm spoiled, and I have to agree I am. I'd always got special treatment, since I was the youngest of three. For my 17th birthday, my parents bought me a red Lamborghini Veneno! I don't think anyone could even recognize the name, unless of course you were some sort of know-it-all. I went to the best schools that were only for the richest of all. You really could say I was a spoiled brat.

"Willow Harrington"? I heard the nurse say, she was dressed in a white coat like the ones people in labs wear, and gross, what kind of fashion is that? I clutched my new Gucci purse, and straightened my outfit which was a pearl white shirt and a bright red coat,  it matched perfectly with my red skirt and spiky, red high heels. My mask matched too, which was silky red! I would say that I looked like one of those models. But to be honest I had such an ugly name, I wish it was like Roxanne or Chloe or something...

"Miss Willow, it's a pleasure to meet you!" The nurse said. I was admiring my glossy red nails, so I just said "Yeah, whatever, it's a pleasure to meet you too I guess." Her expression probably changed from all smiley to confused, because her voice went from a super    squeaky high voice to a low one. "Well, umm lets get you checked up! I'm sure you know there is a virus, so we need to make sure you are doing well."  I replied saying, "Of course I know there's a Virus, what do you think?" She frowned again.

"Well, Willow-" I cut her sentence off and said, "Please don't call me that, if you say that one more time I will and I mean I WILL call my Father and you will be fired from here." She looked so scared, "Ye-s, Of- course" She stammered and replied to my threatening comment. "You can call me Whitney instead, I've always adored the name!" I gave a pose. "Yes Miss.Whitney, could you please take a seat on the bed." I plopped down on the "bed." "You know this is a really ugly color for a bed, please have them change it immediately, my father is the owner of this hospital after all. Also add some-" "Yes, of COURSE" she cut me off, and spoke in a rather rude tone. How does someone have the audacity to say that to the daughter of a billionaire?

She did some normal things, as you would see in about maybe any basic check-up, like checking your height and weight. Your heart-beat, and hearing. But when it came to the eye and temperature test, I was a bit scared. I hated eye-tests either way, because I have a fear of losing my eye-sight. The other reason was, that it is the most common sign of the virus. You start to lose your vision and your temperature increases.

The Sagitarya Virus was no joke, first-you start losing your vision half the first few weeks and by the last day of the second week you're blind. Meanwhile your temperature increases rapidly. Until you sweat so much that you just can't handle it anymore. You feel so thirsty even if you gulp gallons of water. Memories of the past continue to torment you, and you feel guilt and pain. While this is all happening your body is slowly, shutting down. The longest anyone has survived was just three months. It's a lot less then you think. This is at-least what everyone knows so far.

All these thoughts came to me while she checked my temperature, "Your temperature is a bit high, but that isn't a major problem." The Nurse said. I was a little scared when she said "high" but relieved that she said "isn't a major problem." She then checked my eye-sight, I had goosebumps all over me. But apparently I scored 20/20! Which was such a big relief. "Now we will take a small blood sample," The nurse said. "Wait why? What does taking a blood sample have to do with the Virus?" I asked, surprised. "You haven't heard? People have been showing signs of blood that is completely black or bluish, we need to see." She told me. I was scared now, but I just had to keep telling my self not to be, because I'd already passed two, so just one more.

I stared at her, a bit nervous. She got the needle ready and a bandage in another hand. She asked me if I was ready, I nodded. I looked away as she poked the needle onto my hand. It hurt a lot, usually it didn't! The nurse screamed, I turned around to see, I gave a shriek.
