~CHAPTER 1~
I walked down the dirt road into the
village holding my brothers hand "Sissy?..what's that up in the sky?"
My brother pointed his little hand to the sky and I looked up to see a horrid sight...it was a dragon...
I picked my brother up and ran as fast as I could to my home.
When I finally made it home I bursted in the door and as soon as I closed it I heard screams emerge from outside.
"MOTHER! MOTHER THE DRAGONS ARE COMING" I yelled as I let my brother down from my back.
"COME ON DEARS IN THE SHELTER" We piled in the shelter below our home and my mother locked the door shut.
I helped my brother down the steps and we sat for a little bit before we saw the door begging to shake.
A great big claw emerged from the sky and ripped our door right off.
I covered my brothers mouth hoping the dragon wouldn't hear us.
My mother grabbed a sword from the corner of the shelter and got infront of us...
"MOTHER!" The dragon fit his head through the entrance and grabbed my mother away from my reach...
Before she was swallowed by the dragon she stabbed it in the mouth causing it to bleed severely.
The dragons eyes closed and I saw it slowly stop breathing.
"Come kai we need to escape! quickly now!" I said grabbing my brothers hand.
We neared the dragons head..I climbed overtop of the dragon and discovered that my house was ripped to shreds...
I pulled my brother out of the shelter and we ran up the dirt road trying to make it into the cave in the nearby mountain
Fire was shot at us through the dragons mouth
I ran as fast as I could while I dragged my brother along. We finally arrived at the cave and ran in hiding in a corner.
We had been waiting for hours now...it seemed all the ruckus had stopped.
I peeked out of the cave and saw half the town was on fire...it was all demolished...
I grabbed my brothers hand and we walked out I saw my grandmother was gathering her things so we could leave to another area.
I rushed over and we began to help her gather the few things she had.
It was a while later and all the towns people had gathered at the edge of where the town had began...that's when we began our journey to build a new village
