Memories

Why do people say "I want to relive my memories"? Isn't it weird? A lot of us have such embarrassing moments in life yet people still want to relive their memories. Tendou didn't understand that phrase. He grew up bullied for looking different and for "acting weird". People still judged even though he's already in his third year of high school. However, there was one person who genuinely didn't care. 

"Wakatoshi Ushijima" Tendou whispered to himself.

Third year, such as Tendou, and an amazing spiker. Tall, large, and handsome. He was the whole package. Plus, he didn't care about Tendou's looks. It was a nice feeling for Tendou. Someone who isn't constantly trying to put him down. Tendou's heart fluttered at the idea of being held in those strong arms, but he wasn't sure if Wakatoshi-kun was gay or not. Either way, he wants to feel Wakatoshi in-

"Move out of the way loser."

Tendou looks up to see a guy move past him. Whatever, at least he didn't push him to the ground. Tendou walked through the gates of his hell, school. He kept his head down so he didn't see the people judging him. He tried to stay calm but it was hard because no one knew how to mind their own business. He kept walking until he felt his head bump into someone. He was crying in the inside but he tried to look calm. He was scared to look up and get punched in the face, but he knew at some point he had to look up. He took a breath and slowly craned his head upwards to see who it was. Relief washed over his face.

"Wakatoshi-kun!"

"Tendou."

Wakatoshi started to walk away so Tendou started to follow after him. He felt more relieved because he knew that no one would dare look at him or belittle him while he was walking with Ushijima. Tendou felt safe.

~Time Skip: End of the Day~

Tendou started to walk home. He was tired and just wanted to take a nap. He put some headphones on and just vibed with the music. His thoughts always rushed to Ushijima. Ushijima was always there protecting Tendou even if he didn't actually know it. It made Tendou get butterflies because he really liked Ushijima. See, most of the girls only like Ushijima because he was handsome. Yes Tendou thought Wakatoshi-kun was handsome but he liked Ushijima's personality better. He was always so innocent and didn't know what some things meant and Tendou found it cute. He looked up to the evening sky and stared at the moon.

"Wonder when I can get courage to confess to him" Tendou thought. 

Tendou felt calm listening to the music until the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. He was being followed. Tendou tried not to look like he noticed but he quickened his pace. He tried to see who was following him so he held his phone up. It was a guy but he was unrecognizable because he was wearing a mask. Tendou quickened his pace a little more and took a turn but he ended up in an empty alley way. He turned around to face the guy and saw the guy slowly walking up to him. Tendou's heart started racing. He didn't know if the guy had a weapon on him or not but he couldn't do anything except slowly walk backwards.

"Please...please don't hurt me..." Tendou whispered.

Tendou tripped on a can and fell down. The guy was right in front of him slowly taking off his mask. Tendou's heart stopped beating when he saw that the guy was the guy from the morning. The guy grabbed the collar of Tendou's shirt and brought Tendou close to his face. 

"Why didn't you say sorry this morning when you bumped into me?!" the guy yelled.

"I'm so-"

He knocked Tendou to the ground. He punched him once, then twice, and kept going. Tendou couldn't breathe and he felt like as if he was going to die. He couldn't see anything anymore and everything was going blurry.
