Summary: When their best friend Cynthia Horrocks dissapears before their 6th year at Cackle's, Henrietta Hubble, Mona Hallow, Cressie Winterchild and Belladonna Bindweed have to try and move on without her. But when her body is found a year later before their 7th year, the girls come together again as a mysterious person is threatening them. Based on Pretty Little Liars. In Hettie's POV. PLL AU

Flashback

"Careful Hettie! If you drink too much you'll tell us all you're secrets" Belladonna said laughing a bit now.

They were having a sleepover before they all went back to Cackle's for their 6th year and Cynthia decided that it was a good idea to have something to drink. Like their parents wouldn't find out. When it came to Hettie and her friends, everybody found out what they were up to eventually. The girls were always getting into trouble.

Hettie shook her head and looked to her friend Cynthia who smiled at all three of them. Friends share secrets! It's what keeps us close. So drink up Hettie!"

Hettie laughed and drank now and before she knew it she was waking up in a dark barn with her friends, but two were missing. It wasn't like Belladonna and Cynthia to be away for so long and it was storming outside as well.

"Cynthia??" she called out now, feeling nervous. Cynthia hated storms and she wouldn't be out in one if Hettie knew her friend.

"I've looked everywhere for her." Belladonna said as she walked into the barn. "I think I heard her scream.

Hettie's face froze in horror as she stared at her best friend. "What??"

End Of Flashback

It had been a year since that horrible night and Hettie was not feeling like herself. The anniversary of her best friend's disappearance had been hard on all of her and her former best friends. All through 6th year, she and her friends had drifted apart. Some became loners while others became popular and Hettie could not feel more heartbroken. And now here she was standing in front of her mirror when her cousin Mildred came into her room.

"Hey you okay?" she asked her cousin gently as she walked over to sit down next to her."I still think about her everyday" Hettie said as she looked over at her cousin sadly. She was staying with her before she went to Cackle's because her parents were in the middle of a huge divorce and Hettie couldn't take being in the house anymore, knowing that she knew what caused it and didn't tell her mom for a year.

She didn't know what she felt more guilty about. Her best friend's death or lying to her mom.

"On the news they're calling it the anniversary of her disappearance. Like it's a party or something."

She hated hearing people talk about Cynthia in that way and she would do anything to change that. Go back in time and make it so she was alive. But she and Cressie had already messed with time before and that didn't go well.

"Why don't you just call them" Mildred said, giving Hettie her phone. "You five were inseparable and those feelings don't just go away."

The girl nodded and took her phone. "I need to fly for a bit before I head back to school."She didn't know that her life was about to turn upside down as soon as she got back to Cackle's. It was never going to be the same

AN: Well that was a short chapter for tonight, but I want to see what everybody thinks before I go forward with this. And ideas are much appreciated as this timeline and storyline are going to be so different that I don't even know what to do! But I love PLL and Hettie looks so much like Aria that the idea popped into my head. So let me know what you think!!!
