Another time travel AU.
*imagine Izuku is a huge support design nerd and before all might have him one for all his plan was to try out for heroes but eventually go into the support course because he wouldn't pass the hero course entrance exam*
- Izuku, age 38, travels back in time due to an explosion caused by Mei messing with time travel,
- He lands on Some random street 34 years in the past, not far from UA and has no way to get back to his time
- he is well aware that the notes and possibly Mei herself have been destroyed so he's stuck in the past with no way home
- He wants to change things, save some people (that's why they were building it in the first place) and from mei's and his extensive research into time travel he knows that really he shouldn't play around with this but he's here so why not make some positive changes,
- The first thing he does is go to see his mum, she and toshinori are both dead is his time
- he sees her whilst little Izuku is at preschool, there are lots of explanations and lots of tears
- she says he can stay he's like ... how's that gunna work?
- she tells him that hisashi his dad died right after he was born and she didn't have the heart to tell him so she's always told him that his dad just works overseas
- Izuku is shook but is still like... and? How does that help me change things?
- "you could pretend to be hisashi! We just tell people that we aren't compatible, so got a divorce but are living together for izuku's sake, you can still have a normal life and you can be there for you! It won't look crazy when he grows up looking like your twin with the same quirk because your his dad everyone will just be shocked at how similar you are but no one would think time travel! It's perfect!"
- Izuku is grossed out at the thought of marrying his mother but realised its the perfect cover story
- introduction to tiny Izuku is adorable
- going to UA to explain what is REALLY happening to Nedzu is trippy as hell, seeing a young aizawa on campus obviously in his first year is crazy
- nezu gets fake documents for him in the name hisashi: fake marriage, divorce, birth certificates, hero licence, education diplomas and grades and even a driving licence.
*you decide what he changes and when but both tenko and eri must be saved, whether they go to allmight or with inko and 'hisashi' is your choice, hisashi must confront all might (preferably during his big fight with all for one, all might is still hit but not as hard and it doesn't have huge lasting effects but still requires him to find a predecessor) where allmight discovers who hisashi really is and that he has one for all aswell, hisashi refuses tells allmight his real name or how allmight chose him though as he feels that that's something that has to remain the same.*
*if you want to I would also love a slightly crack scene based on Brooklyn nine nine where after the 'go kill yourself' comment from bakagou to Izuku (which still happened even though bakagou's temperament and overall personality has improved thanks to hisashi being a somewhat asshole second father to him) hisashi tells bakagou the truth of who he really is and then when bakagou says "why would you tell me this?" Hisashi's response is "because no one would believe you" and then he smiles and walks away
